POSTS STORIES REELS

Time to introduce myself! 👋
I love to travel, try new things and make the most of every trip!

But that’s easier said than done with limited holiday days, a set budget, too many Instagram inspo’s and of course… a GLUTEN INTOLERNACE! 😫

I tried the apps, googled gluten free near me (spending hours scrolling reviews to make sure I can eat real food), saved the reels, pinned the locations… and after it all, I’m ready to share the adventures with you! 💌

When travelling I want the authentic experience, I want the adrenaline, I want to learn more about the culture and actually taste it. 😋

When I look back I don’t want the gluten flares ups ruining the day, or the hangry hours of looking for more than fries and rice!
When you want it all in a budget, within a timeframe, with gluten free options it feels like more work than it’s worth. 🗺️

That’s why I made this page.
To honestly share my experiences, my recommendations, the hidden prices and tips no one tells you about until you get there… and soon, I will offer guides and key travel destinations too! 📍
So whether you are planning your trip, hungry on your trip or just looking for inspiration on what you can REALISTICALLY try when here, you found me for a reason. 💕

If you’re new, follow to join this new and very exciting journey with me… because sometimes you just need one go-to place for what’s tried and tested (or tasted).👌

Only have 72 hours in Buenos Aires? Save this 🇦🇷

Day 1 — Palermo

🥞Start in Palermo Hollywood with breakfast at @taccoff , a fully gluten free café.

Then head to Palermo Soho and wander around Plaza Serrano for boutique shopping and independent Argentine brands.

🥟For lunch stop at @sintaxisglutenfree, one of the best dedicated gluten free restaurants in the city.

🎍Spend the afternoon in the Japanese Gardens, the most peaceful spots in the city.

🥩 After, head to dinner nearby at Dinner at La Dorita del Botánico for a classic Argentine asado. Don’t miss the provoleta. 🧀

Day 2 — Recoleta

📚Start at El Ateneo Grand Splendid, one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world. You can even have a coffee inside while taking in the theatre setting.

🌞For lunch grab something from @launionglutenfree or @paindujour.arg and take it to Plaza Vicente López just 2 minutes away. Both are great if you want to pick up extra things to go for later.

🪦Then walk about 10 minutes to Recoleta Cemetery, known for its impressive mausoleums.

🏞️ Afterwards walk about 15 minutes to Floralis Genérica and sit in the park and drink a mate like a local.

🍝 Dinner at @laparolaccia Recoleta, about a 10 minute walk away with gluten free pasta options.

Day 3 - San Telmo & La Boca

🥐 After breakfast nearby (just search Sin TACC, which means gluten free in Argentina), head to San Telmo Market.

☕️ Grab a coffee at @lantiquario.bistro and wander through the market and around Plaza Dorrego.

🥙 If you’re hungry stop at La Vegetariana Alimentación which offers Sin TACC/gluten free options.

Then take an Uber (10 minutes) to La Boca. If you want air conditioning, book an Uber Black.

🏟️ Walk through Caminito, visit the Boca Juniors Museum and tour La Bombonera. It’s best to book the stadium tour ahead in case there’s a match that day.

💃🏻 End the evening back in San Telmo with a tango show and dinner at @elviejoalmacentango . It’s also best to book this in advance.

Buenos Aires is a city full of life and a great destination for coeliacs, with many places offering Sin TACC gluten free options. 💕

Buenos Aires never ceases to surprise me. 🇦🇷

After exploring parts of this huge city, I’m excited to share just some of my favourite finds in the many dedicated gluten free spaces across the city. 📍

Think Argentinian classics like medialunas, vigilantes and milanesas, as well as pasta, cinnamon rolls, cakes, sandwiches and both savoury and sweet pastry finds.

Anything you miss as a coeliac… this city of gluten free heaven will find it for you. 👼

The song to this reel is accurate too. I wish you were right here… it’s hard to leave you (Buenos Aires) when I get you (the best food) everywhere… 😭

I wish everywhere in the world had the same options so readily available. But that’s the beauty of this community, I will share where you can eat to for the normalcy & simplicity of a tasty pastry. 🥐

Buenísimo, Buenos Aires. 👏👏👏

POV: you’re travelling where gluten free is the law! 🇦🇷

Since 2023, restaurants in Argentina are required to offer a gluten free option — changing everything as a gluten free traveler.
Medialunas, vigilantes, even a typical asado… no more missing out.

Gluten free in Zurich? This one is for you. 🥨

@zufreeden_glutenfree.zurich is a 100% dedicated gluten free café, founded by two coeliac sisters. 🤍

The menu is full of the things we miss out on most as coeliacs, and that alone makes it special:
🧇 We had the waffles, loaded with cream, banana and Nutella. Something you rarely find gluten free and a real treat.

🥧 The spinach and cheese quiche comes heated with a beautiful buttery base, perfect for a hearty lunch.

🥨 We also had a soft pretzel and took home a brownie and some fresh bread.

☕🍵 The matcha and cappuccino both came with little GF biscuits on the side - The small things you forget you’ve been missing.

No stress, no risk of getting glutened, in a quiet spot away from the busy streets of Zurich. 🇨🇭

Save this for your next trip or share with your gf friends!👇

Don’t come to Palermo without trying @sintaxisglutenfree 📍
A 100% gluten free restaurant with a menu that feels endless, full of Argentinian classics and bakery options to take home.💙

🍝 We ordered the beef milanesa with the chicken’s napolitana topping, served with thick fresh pasta in a buttery sauce, and their sorrentinos de osobuco (pulled beef), finishing with an iced latte to enjoy on the terrace.
🍋 Their lemonade is perfect for the warm weather, and I even grabbed one in a to go cup.

The complimentary bread on the table alone makes you say buenísimo, and the bakery counter has anything your heart desires, with their own bread you can take home so you don’t have to part ways with it. 🍞🥐🍰

Share this with someone you would take to Sintaxis! 🇦🇷

When you see the red door in Recoleta, you’re in the right place. ❤️
Welcome to @paindujour.arg , a dedicated gluten free café (Patisserie & Bistro) offering a wide range of savoury and sweet treats. ❤️

Perfect for a quick snack like a chipá or a medialuna, or something more filling. They have a full range of quiches, pizza, wraps that can be heated, sandwiches, and even fresh bread to go. 🥐🥪🍞🍕

☕️ They serve all types of coffee and there is a cute seating area inside. Prefer takeaway? No problem.

🌳 Enjoy your gluten free food a two minute walk away in Plaza Vicente López y Planes.

☀️ 100 days until summer transforms Zurich.
When the city starts to relax and lake life takes over.
🍦Soup cravings turn into BBQ feasts in Uetliberg, sunscreen is a permanent bag resident and ice cream shops become evening havens. Picnics, lakeside reads and spontaneous dips become the norm.
📆When spontaneity kicks in and weekends shift from ski plans to impromptu gatherings of the people you only imagined lived here. Like an emerging cluster of local residents who you would only ever pass in the supermarket.
🎶 The icy chill melts off your neighbours and you hear the sound of voices, music and a buzz in the air.

I finally found a gluten free cinnamon roll… 🥳

La Unión is a 100% gluten free bakery boasting everything you could possibly want, with a full mix of sweet and savoury options. 💕🥐🍰

I started with the glazed cinnamon roll, which also comes heated, then added a vigilante, which came with dulce de leche and jam… that didn’t last long. 🤤

With a long day ahead, I had to try the savoury options too. The fresh ham and cheese tart is available hot too, and I also took a simple ham and cheese sandwich on white bread to go. 🥪

@launionglutenfree has everything you could dream of, with locations across Buenos Aires! 🇦🇷

10/10 I recommend to Try When Here!
I’d come here any day. 😍
