POSTS STORIES REELS

What have you never said because you were afraid it wouldn't be understood?

Maybe it's a letter.
Maybe a confession.
Maybe a thought you've carried quietly for years.
Maybe just a few words you've never found the courage .. or the right moment to say.
TSC Publications is here to give those words a home.

For our first Words We Never Sent, we’re opening the page with a thought worth talking about:
“Every Man Isn’t the Same.”
Not every man loves the same way.
Not every man expresses what he feels.
Not every silence means indifference.
And not every experience should become a definition of everyone who comes after it.

So write.
Write about what you've felt.
What you've misunderstood.
What you've learned.
What you wish people knew.
Write a letter, a poem, a confession, a memory—or simply a few unfinished words.

You don't have to write perfectly.
You only have to write honestly.
Send your words to thesoftcolumn@gmail.com or message @TSC_Publications.

And this Saturday at 7 PM IST, we'll open a new page for the Words We Never Sent , words that perhaps needed a home all along.
Maybe yours will be on the next page. 🤎

There are words we never said,
goodbyes we never got to give,
and feelings we never found the courage to put into words.

Maybe some things remain unfinished for a reason.
Not every sentence needs an ending,
and not every memory needs to be forgotten.

Some words stay quietly within us
reminding us of who we were,
what we survived,
and how we learned to begin again. 🌙

Some stories are not meant to be forgotten.
Some are meant to be carried gently, understood slowly, and written beyond the pain.

“Somewhere between losing everything and finding yourself, a new story begins.”
— type.unspoken

Keep Writing is a quiet reminder that losing people, dreams, or pieces of who we once were does not mean the story has ended.

Perhaps healing isn't about becoming who you were before.
Perhaps it's about meeting yourself again—and choosing to stay.

You don't need a perfect story.
You just have to keep writing it. 🤎

Wake Me Up

Sometimes, the hardest thing isn't leaving.
It's knowing that you are slowly believing a version of someone that was never true.

Wake me up before I believe your lies are truth,
and your truth, lies.
Some words don't ask to be understood.
They only ask to be heard before it becomes too late.

Echoes of Autumn · 006 🍂
Some people leave quietly,
but their echoes remain.

Some stories don't end because the love disappears.
Sometimes, they simply become a part of us something gentle we carry forward.
And perhaps letting go isn't about forgetting.
Perhaps it's about allowing the heart to breathe again.

Long Distance Lovers
Maybe distance is not always measured in miles.
Sometimes, it is measured in seconds.

In the brief moment when the minute hand touches the hour hand
close enough to feel,
never close enough to stay.

And perhaps that is what makes longing so strange.
We spend so much of our love waiting for the moment when there will be no distance left to cross.

But what happens then?
When the waiting ends.
When the almost becomes a together.
When the love that learned to survive between moments finally has nowhere left to wait.

Would it feel like peace
or would we miss the longing that taught us how deeply we could love?

Somewhere between the ticking of a clock and the silence between two hearts,
there are words that never quite make it across.
So we leave them here.

Things We Never Sent · 004 — I Belong to Myself

There are parts of us that learn to smile through the hurt, to stay quiet when something inside us is asking to be heard.

But love should never make you smaller.
It should never leave marks just to prove it exists.
And you should never have to belong to someone more than you belong to yourself.
This is a piece about tenderness, boundaries, and the quiet courage of choosing yourself.

For every woman who has ever had to remind herself:
I belong to myself.

This September, as we observe Suicide Prevention Month, we’re also choosing to remember something simple: sometimes, looking a little closer, listening a little longer, and giving someone a safe place to speak can matter more than we know.

You matter.
Your story matters.
And your words deserve somewhere soft to land. 🌿

THINGS WE NEVER SENT 003

"Healing begins when we stop treating our past selves as enemies. Be gentle with the version of you that was just trying to survive."- Harneet Kaur

Sometimes, the person we need to forgive most is the one who was simply trying to survive with what they knew then.

And sometimes, being gentle with our past is the first way we learn to stay.

This September, as we hold space for suicide prevention, we want to remember something simple: you matter, your story matters, and you don't have to carry everything alone.

If these words feel familiar, please reach out-to a friend, someone you trust, or someone who can help. There is still room for your story to continue.

There are some things we don't talk about enough, not because they don't matter, but because we don't always know how to talk about them. Suicide is one of those things.

There is so much silence, discomfort and fear around the word itself that sometimes we forget there is a person behind it, someone who may simply be tired, overwhelmed, hurting, or trying to make sense of what they are feeling.Talking about suicide does not mean putting the thought into someone's mind, sometimes, an honest and judgement-free conversation can simply give someone the space to say what they have been carrying quietly.

And you don't need to have the perfect words. You don't need to know exactly what to say or how to fix everything. Sometimes, asking “Are you really okay?” and being willing to stay and listen is enough to begin.

This September, we want to remind you to look around a little more closely, check in on the people you love, listen when someone says they're struggling, and take their pain seriously. And if you are the one finding things difficult, please don't be afraid to ask for help.

Talk to someone you trust, Someone you feel safe with.

You don't have to have the right words, or even a solution. Just reach out to someone. Let someone know that you're having a hard time. You don't have to carry everything quietly just because you don't know how to explain it. Asking for help is not something to be ashamed of.

So, this September, talk to people. Ask the difficult questions. Listen a little longer. Reach out when you need to.

And don't be scared to ask for help. Sometimes, you don't need to know what comes next you just need to let someone know you don't want to face it alone. 💚

"The essence of the poem is that creativity doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful. Some memories whisper; others kick down the door and make a complete mess. Yet even the clumsy, chaotic words deserve a quiet and gentle place to exist."
- Morte Ashgrave

A Quiet Home for Words — 002
Written by Morte Ashgrave

Some words arrive beautifully. Others arrive messy, unfinished, carrying the weight of things we haven't quite known how to say. This piece reminds us that not every memory arrives like poetry — but every voice deserves somewhere soft to land.

For September, we’ve chosen to let Things We Never Sent carry a little more meaning. 💚
Because suicide prevention begins, in part, with changing the narrative — making room for honest conversations, listening without judgement, and reminding someone that their words are worth hearing.

So this month, our pages carry a quieter reminder:
You matter.
Your story matters.
And you never have to carry every word alone.

To Morte — thank you for giving these words a home.

And to whoever is reading this: please check on someone. Listen. Stay. Sometimes, simply making room for a conversation matters more than we realise.
