MEET MON CHOUCHOU | Shopping for the little ones comes with plenty of occasions, and @MonChouchouboutique makes room for them all. Located above Goosecup in downtown Leesburg, the children’s boutique carries clothing, shoes, and accessories for babies through tweens, alongside toys, books, and gifts worth wrapping up.

Everyday favorites share space with special-occasion outfits, cozy sleepwear, outerwear, and seasonal collections, making it an inviting stop whether you’re welcoming a new baby, refreshing a growing child’s wardrobe, or searching for a birthday surprise. Brands including The Beaufort Bonnet Company, Rylee + Cru, Pink Chicken, and Magnetic Me bring a mix of playful personality and classic charm to the selection. With the holidays approaching, it’s a lovely place to outfit your little ones for family celebrations and find delightful gifts to tuck beneath the tree.

We’re delighted to welcome Mon Chouchou to The Scout Guide Hunt Country, Volume 14 (coming Early 2027), and look forward to sharing this local favorite with you! by @tsghuntcountry

Inside the @sprout_center gala 2026! Each September, Sprout Therapeutic Riding & Education Center welcomes supporters to its Aldie farm for the Gallop Gala, a black-tie evening that helps fund its work with people with disabilities. Held in the center’s working horse barn, the annual gathering gives guests a chance to meet the horses, get to know the program, and celebrate alongside the community that sustains it.

This year’s Gala brought together more than 300 guests to mark Sprout’s 15th year of service and the event’s 10th anniversary. Inspired by Spot, the evening’s equine honoree, the “Wild & Free” theme transformed the barn with more than 2,400 live plants for a night of dining, auctions, and dancing.

Dear Friends,
November is a lovely time to linger in Hunt Country, as the last golden leaves give way to the first holiday preparations. I’m looking forward to browsing local markets, discovering what our artists and makers have been creating, and gathering around a table to enjoy the season’s harvest.

As Thanksgiving approaches, I also find myself pausing with gratitude for this community and the way we continue to show up for our small businesses. Every visit, purchase, and recommendation supports the neighbors who make Hunt Country so special. Thank you for keeping that spirit alive as we head into the holidays.

With gratitude,
NELINA 🤍 by @tsghuntcountry

We stopped in @laracineva to get a sneak peek of the Anouk Steinke works that will be featured in the exhibit opening on November 14th where guests can meet Anouk and talk with the artist at noon. We hope to see you there!

We stopped by @nco.nido—the coffee and tea house nestled in the garden of @naturecomposed for a delicious beverage! The Coconut Cloud Matcha was the perfect pick-me-up, but the rest of the menu looks pretty tempting too. ☕️ 👀 by @tsghuntcountry

Before the holiday invitations stack up and the evenings fill with festive plans, make a little room on the calendar for yourself. Between family photographs, holiday dinners, and nights out in Hunt Country, preparing your skin deserves the same thoughtful timing as the rest of your seasonal to-do list.

For Angela Burleson, FNP-C, an aesthetic nurse practitioner at Aiyana Atelier, that preparation begins with understanding what each client wants to see and how they want to feel. “When someone tells me they want to look ‘refreshed,’ they usually don’t want to look different,” she says. “They just want to look like the best version of themselves.”

The approach at Aiyana Atelier centers on personalized care, healthy-looking skin, and enough time to make thoughtful decisions. We sat down with Burleson to get her advice for heading into the holiday season feeling confident, comfortable, and ready to celebrate.

To explore personalized skincare and treatment options, visit Aiyana Atelier, with locations in Middleburg and Alexandria. 💉 by @tsghuntcountry

The Highland cows may be what first brings you to @SterlingHillsFarm, but Robin Darter, owner with her husband Shawn, keeps finding new reasons for guests to linger. Since welcoming visitors for tours and picnics in early 2024, she has expanded the farm’s offerings to include creative workshops, intimate celebrations, and afternoons that leave plenty of time to enjoy the countryside.

Now, a greenhouse brings her love of gardening into the picture, Valais Blacknose sheep have joined the farm, and plans for peony fields are taking shape. We caught up with Robin to talk about what’s growing at Sterling Hills, the surprises her husband has contributed along the way, and why the most meaningful moments are often the quietest.
