Every service business owner should write two lists this week.

It takes about ten minutes and it'll tell you more about your business than most reports will.

Grab a notepad and split your week in two.

List one is the work that makes you money.
Closing sales calls.
Doing the work, or checking it.
Upselling while you're on the job.
Building referral partners.
Training your team so they can do more of it.

List two is the work that eats your time.
Answering the same questions all day.
Chasing quotes that went quiet.
Rescheduling.
Asking for reviews.
Updating the CRM.

Now count how many hours went to list two last week.

Most owners are surprised by that number.

Almost everything on list two can be handled by a custom AI agent trained on your prices, your policies and the way you talk to customers.
It answers, follows up, reschedules, asks for the review and logs every conversation, and you never have to pick up your phone for it.

Nobody can take list one off your hands.
That part is you.

Every hour an agent takes off list two is an hour you get back for list one.

This is the only task tier list a service business owner needs this week.

Most owners I talk to are doing every job in the business.
Answering leads at 9 PM. Chasing quotes. Updating a CRM nobody updates.
Then they wonder why there's no time left to sell.

So I ranked the work.

Only you
→ Closing the sale. People want to buy from the owner.
→ Doing or checking the work, since it's your name on it
→ Referral partners

You + agent
→ Quotes on bigger work. The agent gathers the details, you set the price.
→ Upset customers. The agent flags it fast and you make the call.

Agent first
→ Answering new leads in under a minute, day or night
→ Qualifying questions, so you stop quoting people who were never going to buy
→ Booking, reminders and deposits, so the calendar actually holds

Agent only
→ Follow up texts on leads that went quiet
→ Review requests the day the work is done
→ CRM updates after every conversation
→ Check-ins with past customers

The top tier is where your money comes from.
The bottom two are where your week goes.

Where would you move something?

Most local service businesses don't lose leads to a better competitor.

They lose them in the first 5 minutes.

Somebody fills out a form or sends a DM asking for a price.
You're on a job. Your office person is on another call.
By the time anyone gets back to them, they already booked with whoever answered first.

You paid for that lead.
That's money coming out of your pocket every time it slips.

So here's what should happen in those first 5 minutes, and what a custom agent can take off your plate.

1. Reply while they're still looking
↳ Text or DM back in under a minute, nights and weekends included, in your wording

2. Ask the questions you'd ask
↳ What they need, where they are, when they want it and what they expect to spend

3. Put it on the calendar
↳ Real open times from your calendar, then the confirmation, the reminder and the deposit if you take one

4. Follow up when they go quiet
↳ Most leads don't say no. They just stop answering.

5. Log it
↳ Every conversation lands in your CRM, so you know exactly who needs a call from you

This is what we've done for our clients using this system.
206 deals and $405,974 in cash collected, across all the dashboard data in our payment tracker, captured Oct 24, 2026.
Past client results. Results vary. Not a guarantee. Cash collected is not profit.

None of that needs you sitting on your phone.
It needs you on the calls that make money.

Comment "AGENT" and I'll send you a breakdown of how this can work for your business.
