POSTS STORIES REELS

This past weekend (Dec 9th, 2023) my life became a lot FINER! With immense hard work and Zetermination, it’s my pleasure to announce that I’ve become a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated - Psi Mu Zeta Chapter (which is officially now the LARGEST GRAD CHAPTER IN NC) 🕊️ .

I’ve been an only child my whole life but I always prayed for siblings , especially sisters. And from my mouth to Gods ear, I was not only blessed with a few… I’ve been blessed with 30+ NEW SISTERS!

And while on the topic of sisterhood and being finer, I especially want to thank our org for allowing mine, @charl.ei & @ohhniyaa_ paths to cross! Y’all have shown me nothing but pure love, support, guidance, and I appreciate you for it🤞🏾. We are officially sorors and sisters now 4L 💙🤍.

Hi! My name is Paige and I am 23 years young! For those of you that don’t know me personally on here or in RL - I was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata about 5 1/2 years ago. Alopecia Areata (aka AA) stems from having autoimmune deficiency or (more often times than not) excessive stress. The result of that (more often times than not) is your hair can start falling out🗣. Essentially, what happens is your white blood cells start attacking their own foilicle, which then triggers your body to start damaged control so it becomes out of whack which forced your body in overdrive mode.

That said, getting diagnosed with this was definitely a reality check and confidence suppresser at first. Now that I’m blessed enough to have my hair back (which does not happen for everybody) I feel even more comfortable sharing my story and being a part of a special community- my community @naaf_org . They embraced me from day 1 and connected me with amazing people that I typically would of thought I had nothing in common with💯. This is me. This is my raw truth, and I’m blessed to have been able to have support, manage it, and still love myself through it ♥️👩🏽‍🦲. I plan to continue to be a helping hand, be a guide and share my story with the world so people don’t feel alone with nowhere to turn like I did. Hi loves! I want to share something with everybody on my TL that is VERY personal to ME and has taken years of courage to truly share🗣. August 1st was #nationalalopeciaday 💙. I wanted to shed some insight on my experience these past few years and oh what a ride it’s been 😌. I went from having a full head of wavy, curly hair, then it fell out in patches then grew all back leaving me with short & curly hair to then transitioning to being completely bald and then came full circle to where I am today as I post this😍. I don’t talk about my experience with just anybody, it has really taken a lot for me to even make this post. However, I’ve learned ALOT and am so grateful to be here with this much progress today and TBH I wouldn’t change much about the experiences I’ve encountered ♥️. So to all my bald 👩🏾‍🦲 babes (myself included) keep your crown 👑 lifted high✨
P.S. I’ve NEVER shared my Alopecia Areata* journey socially because it’s something so precious to me, so please be kind- Thank you all who’s supported me from the beginning, it means more than you’ll ever know🤞🏾 by @turn_theepaigeee

Introducing my most recent project….

Regrowth Restyled PR Campaign x Leqselvi Patient Partnership for Severe Alopecia Areata ft. ME 🤩🎥

Shooting this campaign and experiencing tremendous hair growth in real time reminded me that the path to achieving success is NEVER linear nor is it always beautiful. However shooting this campaign was a reminder to myself being diagnosed with Severe Alopecia Areata can be extremely difficult to handle sometimes but it can also beautiful if you let it! S/o to #alopeciaareataawarenessmonth 💙as it can show up in a lot of different ways but REGROWN, RESTYLED, and REDEFINED are my top favorite ways to live as of lately 😊 by @turn_theepaigeee
