Save this for your next trip to London! πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§β¬‡οΈ We were lost in the hustle and bustle of London’s lively streets! πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§βœ¨ From iconic landmarks to charming neighborhoods, every corner is filled with energy and excitement. Tips πŸ’‘ - when travelling from Heathrow to the city center take the Elizabeth line or Express train right into the city! Takes about 1/4 of the time than waiting in traffic - if you’re looking to see a show or go to a popular dining spot, book early! - if you’re on a budget, check out some of the many free museums! Some of the major museums with free entry to their permanent collections include the British Museum, the National Gallery, the Tate Modern, the Tate Britain, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum, and the Science Museum. *We will make a video on our top must-dos while here, but we really appreciate all of your recommendations so far, keep them coming and comment down below to share some ideas! ⬇️ #LondonLove #CityAdventures #ExploringTogether #londoncity #londoneye #CoupleGoals #TravelRomance by @turtleandpeacock
Bon Nadal! πŸŽ„ ❀️ . . Wishing everyone a happy holiday season! . . We got our tree up just in time! Interestingly enough, this is the same original tree we bought in Canada during our first Christmas together years ago. This tree has moved across the world with us and still brings us the same level of happiness as it did in the beginning 🀍 🌎 . . #christmastree #christmasinbarcelona #christmascouple by @turtleandpeacock

"The biggest mistake is, you think you have time. Time is free, but it's priceless. You can't own it, but you can use it. You can't keep it, but you can spend it. And once it's lost, you can never get it back." . . Happy new year insta fam ❀ Here's to making the most of the time you're given instead of dwelling on time that was lost πŸ™ . . Sometimes the most spontaneous adventures are the best ones. #antalya #turkey . . Took a quick reset in beautiful Antalya over the long weekend. We would definitely recommend it for those looking for a relaxing spot on the coast without the large crowds like in Istanbul (which we also love). . . Best Areas to Stay in for your first time: There are many affordable resorts/hotels to choose from depending on what you are looking for ⬇️ πŸ”·οΈ Lara Beach - Great for families, sandy beaches, water falls πŸ”·οΈ Kaleici - Great for history buffs and those who want to explore the Old Town (worth seeing) πŸ”·οΈ Belek - A little more on the higher end, Great for couples, golfers, night life, πŸ”·οΈ Olympos- Great for hikers, backpackers . . . Random Tips: 1)If you don't speak Turkish, it is helpful to know either English, German or Russian. Often times you will see signs and menus in those 4 languages there as most of the tourists tend to speak one of the above ☝ . . 2) If you plan on renting a car, rentals and gas are fairly cheap (compared to central Europe and North America) . . With Love from Austria πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΉπŸ˜˜ SAVE + SHARE for Travel inspo . . Hey fam! πŸ‘‹ It's been a while since we've done a pros and cons travel post so here we go! . . We spent last weekend in Austria and it was absolutely beautiful, relaxing and charming. Best part, we didn't need to break the bank πŸ™Œ Keeping it budget friendly is what we're all about! . . -- Where to Stay in Austria (Tirol Region) -- Here is a comparison of two different areas including activities in the area: . . 1) Walchsee 🏞 Pros βœ…: - Very affordable stays and lodging - The lake Walchsee is clean and safe to swim in - Water activities on the lake (e.g boats and paddle boards) are very affordable - Family friendly location - Great for hiking - Not as many tourists in this area -The friendliest people! Cons❌: - About an hour away from a major city such as Salzburg if you want to enjoy the nightlife - Restaurants close early so be prepared to have dinners early on . . 2) Seefeld πŸ” Prosβœ…: - Beautiful area for hiking - Tourist attractions - Close to a major city Innsbruck to enjoy the nightlife - Lake close by, but sports rentals are more expensive - Very friendly people! Cons❌: - Stays are more on the pricey side - More tourists - About an hour away from a major lake (Lake Eibsee) and Zugspitze (Highest Mountain in Germany) . . . . . Comment below which area you would prefer to stay in! If you have any other ideas we can add to our list, please share! πŸ™ . . T & P πŸŒπŸ’™ by @turtleandpeacock
