My dad told me not to put myself through IVF. Fast forward to today, and he is soooo happy that I did because he’s obsessed with his granddaughter, who quite fittingly, was named in honor of his love of opera. #ivfbaby #ivfsuccess #ivfmama #grandfather #over40mom by @twinksy

Tbh I’m shocked she didn’t laugh sooner because I am hilarious 🤣 #babylaugh #fourmonthsold #firsttimemom by @twinksy

I became a mom at 41, which means I lived a lot of life before motherhood. I worked abroad, had cool jobs that exposed me to so many new people and experiences, traveled the world, chased stories, and collected the best memories along the way.

Now I’m having a completely new experience: being a mom. It’s my favorite one yet, but I have so much gratitude for all the lives I’ve lived, this one I’m living now, and all the ones still to come. #motherhoodthroughinstagram #momsover40 #over40mom #oldermom #momover40 by @twinksy

Not long ago, I shared some texts my dad had sent me about my daughter, and somehow, they went viral on both Instagram and TikTok! 🥹 I was unbelievably touched by how much it resonated with people. It made me want to put (mostly) wholesome, uplifting content out into the world. I also received so many DMs from people sharing stories about their families—some heartbreaking, others heartwarming. I feel honored that strangers would open up to me because I truly believe connection is the most powerful thing we can offer one another. 💫

I told my dad he’d gone viral, and he was very pleased to learn that he’s currently the internet’s favorite dad/granddad. 😂 I finally gathered enough texts for Part 2 (and pretty sure Part 3 is coming!). Thank you for your love, stories, connection, and humanity—and for reminding me how lucky I am (although I already knew that). ❤️ #ivfbaby #grandfather #ivfmama #ivfsuccess #grandpalove by @twinksy

Okay, so a cold smoothie is definitely not Chinese confinement nanny-approved, but since I’m now five months postpartum, I think I’m in the clear! 😂 I’ve been making and drinking @reesewitherspoon’s green smoothie religiously, and I swear it’s working magic! ✨ It keeps me satiated, gives me energy (which I’m in dire need of), and with postpartum hair loss in full swing, I’ll take all the nutritional support I can get. 🥬🍋🍎

Sharing the recipe in case you want to give it a try! 💚 #postpartumjourney #postpartumrecovery #postpartumlife #greensmoothie #postpartumdiet by @twinksy

It’s her first Halloween, and judging by my questionable family costume idea (I had no mental capacity left for this, okay?! 😩), I’ve already given her plenty of material for future therapy sessions. 🐷🥓👩🏻‍🍳 #firsttimemom #firsthalloween #halloweencostume #babyhalloween #halloweenbaby by @twinksy

Becoming a mom for the first time over 40 is mostly wonderful (as is becoming a mom at so many other stages of life!). But are there some less-than-ideal moments mixed in with the highs? 😅 Yes, undoubtedly. Here are a few of mine. No regrets, just a few observations (and an achier back). #momover40 #firsttimemom #over40mom #momsover40 #geriatricpregnancy by @twinksy

Of all the family traditions I couldn’t wait to share with Aria, Oktoberfest probably isn’t an obvious one! But for years, we’ve always come together and celebrated my dad’s birthday with German music and plenty of oompah, because it’s something he really enjoys. This year was beyond special because Aria finally got to join us, complete with her very first dirndl (which I searched long and hard to find). I hope one day we’ll all make it to Munich together for the real deal! Here’s to keeping family traditions alive. Prost! 🍻

Oh, to be a wannabe momfluencer getting judged by strangers over a 7-second video. 🥲 #firsttimemom #momover40 #ivfbaby #ivfmama #motherhoodthroughinstagram by @twinksy

Don’t ask me why I thought watching Hamnet was a good idea 11 weeks postpartum… #firsttimemom #momsover40 #over40mom #motherhoodthroughinstagram #motherhoodintheraw by @twinksy
