POSTS STORIES REELS
“Instead of living a story, they’re just watching a story online.” It’s easy to spend our evenings checking out, scrolling, or just relaxing instead of doing the hard work to relate and invest where it matters. If we want to strengthen our marriages, disciple others, and live out God’s call, our nights need to look different. Why did church planting seem to stall for decades, and why is it essential today? In this episode of Open Bible. Open Life., Pastor Kyle and Pastor Caleb confront the myth that America already has “enough churches” and discuss why planting healthy, mission-focused congregations is still vital for reaching people with the gospel. We’re heading into week THREE of our five-week Built to Last series! ➡️ Swipe to see the vision. Behind every space we’re building is someone we hope will come to know and love Jesus. A child developing a faith that lasts. A friend finding community. A family hearing the gospel through a new church. And 10% of everything raised will go beyond our walls to local, national, and global ministry partners, including church planting partners. That means supporting ministry that cares for families in crisis, serves trafficking survivors, and brings the gospel into prisons and new communities. YOUR PART TO PLAY: On November 22nd, Commitment Sunday, we’ll bring our commitment cards forward together as an expression of what we’ve prayerfully decided to give. Between now and then, take time to read your Built to Last book and ask God how he’s leading you to respond. Our prayer is that generosity would grow out of hearts that are joyful and eager to be part of what God is doing. 💬 Comment BUILD and we’ll send you the link to our Built to Last webpage to learn more! by @twocitieschurchws
Stepping out in faith often means choosing mission over comfort, leaving familiarity behind, and trusting that God is already preparing the way. As a follower of Jesus, it’s never a question of if you’re called to be part of his mission, but it’s simply a matter of where and how. Watch the full video to hear stories of how God called these men of our church to plant new churches through the Multiply Collaborative. Interested in learning more about a church plant? Happy Sunday! Join us as we learn from Nehemiah 2 on how true courage isn't the absence of fear, but moving forward in faith and taking God at his word. SEE YOU SOON! by @twocitieschurchws
Behind every Sunday is an extraordinary team! Thank you to every volunteer who showed up early, stayed late, and served our church family with so much joy this week. You make Two Cities feel like home! 🙌 by @twocitieschurchws
We’re heading into Week 2 of BUILT TO LAST! Through this initiative, we’re building places to better build people: creating more space for kids and students to know and follow Jesus, helping our Davie and Lexington campuses move toward permanent homes, and supporting new church plants that will reach more communities with the gospel. This Sunday, we’ll continue through Nehemiah and explore the courage it takes to act on what God has put on your heart. 📖 Bring your Built to Last book, and we’ll see you Sunday! If you don’t have one yet, we’ll have one for you. by @twocitieschurchws

“Burden minus belief is burnout. Belief minus a burden is boredom.” It’s easy to become callous to the brokenness around us or know all the right answers without ever carrying a broken heart for others. Meaningful faith requires both: a heart burdened by the world’s needs and an unwavering belief that God is the answer. What breaks your heart or keeps you awake at night? In this episode of Open Bible. Open Life., Pastor Kyle breaks down how God uses our unique burdens to point us toward our purpose. When something deeply bothers you that others overlook, it’s not an accident, it’s God calling you to use your hands and build a solution. In the rest of this episode, Pastor Kyle and Communications Director, Kari Wilson, introduce the Built to Last Initiative, a vision to build places that better build people through investing in the next generation, expanding campuses, and planting churches. God has done more in and through Two Cities Church than we could have ever dreamed—from seeing over 1,000 people baptized to launching thriving campuses across Winston-Salem, Davie, and Lexington. As our church family continues to grow, we are stepping into an exciting next chapter to prepare for the future, make room for the next generation, and expand our reach with the gospel. Here’s our vision: We are committed to designing Two Cities to partner with you to help you reach the people you love — your family, your friends, your coworkers, your classmates. Our Built to Last Initiative is all about building places to better build people. As we step forward in faith together, here is what we are building: - New 500-Seat Student Center: Dedicated space for middle and high school students, doubling as Sunday morning overflow seating to welcome 1,000+ more people each week. - Doubling Kids Ministry Space: Expanding classrooms and check-in capacity so every child and family has a great environment to learn about Jesus. - Lobby & Campus Enhancements: Adding 200 parking spots, expanding the Winston-Salem lobby by 50%, and adding dedicated ministry offices. - Permanent Campus Homes: Establishing dedicated resources to secure permanent locations for our Davie and Lexington campuses. - The Multiply Collaborative: Launching our church planting network to train, resource, and send leaders to plant gospel-centered churches across the nation. by @twocitieschurchws
