This handsome face belongs to Koby the Dachshund, and in these photographs he just happens to be stealing the thunder of his mam and dad at their wedding in Sant Ffraed House last week. Look at that face! How can you say no… to anything? (Including his insistence on being spooned all night on one of the warmest days of the year!)

Just a little timelapse of a few of the lovely people I chatted to yesterday at @mywonderfulwelshwedding fayre at @llechwenhall

Such a fun day, and I got the chance to have a very brief catch up with some of my favourite supplier friends!

Emails will be going out to everyone later today.

And thanks to Lynne and Steve for having Lucy (or should I say Rapunzel…) to draw the winning couple for the £500 prize! by @twotailsweddings

I am finally getting chance to catch up on posting the most wonderful weddings on the grid, and I am starting with this stunning day!

This is Gruffydd the show cocker and his bestie Lili the cavalier King Charles spaniel having an absolute ball at their brief but memorable appearance at the celebrations for Erin and Callum.

As soon as we arrived all the guests ‘awwwwww’ed at once and Gruffydd spent some time figuring out how he could get his paws on some canapés. Lili made the very sensible decision to stay in the shade and enjoy cwtches with her mam!

As you can see, the day was absolutely scorching, so once our time at the celebrations came to an end, we returned to our cottage for an evening of cwtches in front of the aircon. Perfect! Although we did have to abandon the main sitting area when the hugest wasp I have ever seen in my life decided to pay us a visit. We got out of there pretty sharpish.

It was so lush to see just how Gruff and Lili are loved and adored by their people.

Llongyfarchiadau Erin & Callum!

So let’s talk ‘luxury’ chaperone services. You will see many so chaperones using this term, myself included, and I have thoughts!

I, as a human, am probably about as far from ‘luxury’ as you can get. On work days I can usually be found in waterproofs and wellies, or hating the sun with an absolute vengeance, as my make up runs off my face and my hair gets frizzier and frizzier by the second. On my days off, I can usually be found still in waterproofs and wellies, or hating the sun, or chilling with my family in some 5 year old loungewear that has seen better days.

My car is a 10 year old Dacia, that has nose art on every window and dog hair in every crevice (even after a really expensive valet!). My sofa is a lot like me, old but comfortable, and it is constantly covered in throws because I have two dogs and a toddler.

If you see me on a wedding day, even looking my best, I’ve probably been on a hike with the wedding dogs that morning so have been in the rain/sun/wind/all of the above, so I’ll still be looking ship-wrecked, trust me.

That’s me. Not a lot of ‘luxury’ there.

However…. What is ‘luxury’ about me is the service I offer. If I am booked to chaperone your dog for your wedding day, you’d best believe they are going to have everything they need at the drop of a hat. I promise every couple that my priority is always ‘happy, healthy and safe’, and I live by that motto.

They will have the best walks, the best snacks, the comfiest travels, and as much emotional support as they need. They will be my absolute priority. Even over you, to be honest. I will love them and protect them as I do my own.

I reckon that’s pretty ‘luxury’.

Ems x

And PS… the pic is of me as a rookie dog walker having had something very yucky (it’s exactly what you think it is!) kicked in my face by an excited dog. Doesn’t get more ‘luxury’ than that surely?? by @twotailsweddings
