Oh yeah, I graduated a few weeks ago 🎓 by @tyl3rjon3s_

I’ve been trying to process all of this, and I still don’t know exactly where to begin. Four years ago, I had no idea I’d be where I am today. My journey hasn’t been easy, but I’m grateful I chose to chase dreams I once thought were gone.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve had a football in my hands. Football has always been more than a game to me—the lessons, the adversity, the discipline. These things will stay with me forever.

I’m blessed that God gave me this opportunity and keeps adding to my testimony. My first year here, a season-ending injury put me in a dark place, but God gave me the strength and the right people to help me overcome it and finish strong.

I didn’t truly realize how much this sport meant to me until I lost it. Being able to play again was a dream come true. I wouldn’t be the man I am today without God and without football.

My coaches believed in me. They didn’t just develop me as a player—they helped shape me as a man. They were mentors, leaders, and examples. I’m grateful for every one of them who poured into my life.

My teammates became brothers. The adversity we faced, the long hours, the blood, sweat, and tears we shared on that field are memories that will last a lifetime. I know I have guys who will be part of my life forever, and I’ll always be there for any of them.

If it weren’t for the people who believed in me—and for my parents, who loved and supported me through this entire journey—I wouldn’t be here. I’m deeply thankful for their support and for the sacrifices my family made to help me reach this point.

The little kid in me is proud of who I’ve become. God has blessed me with an extraordinary opportunity, and I know His next plan is going to be amazing. I have memories I’ll never forget, and I’m incredibly thankful for MNU. This school truly saved my life. There were times I wasn’t sure I’d make it through, but the people here believed in me, and I’m forever grateful.

I didn’t want this day to come, but… goodbye, football. Thank you for everything. And thank you to everyone who believed in me.

LOVE,
