Reality check: you can’t survive on caffeine, panic and sheer willpower alone 🫠

Grab a snack, refill your water, get outside for a bit, and text your mates back. We’ve all got exams to get through, but we’ve still got to look after ourselves (and each other) 🫶 by @ucnz

Did UC students just break a world record? 👀🏆

UC Mechatronics Engineering students Caleb Everitt, Johann Torres, Hayden Watson and Maz Cameron have built a robot that can solve a 4x4 Rubik’s Cube faster than the current robot world record 🤯

Their official Guinness World Records attempt? Just 9.806 seconds. ⚡

Now, they’re waiting for Guinness to confirm whether they’ve made history. 🤞 by @ucnz

What does it actually take to build a race car from scratch? 🏎️

For UC Motorsport, it means thousands of hours of work, plenty of problem-solving and a lot of teamwork along the way.

After winning Formula SAE Australasia in 2025, the team could’ve stuck with what they knew. Instead, they’ve completely reworked the design for this year’s car.

We caught up with the team ahead of the launch of UCM26 on 21 October.

We can’t wait to see how they get on! by @ucnz
