I've often watched this movie right after breakups while the wounds were still fresh and I am struggling to make sense of pain. But having given it enough time this time around, I could finally watch it with healthy detachment. Yeah it still hurts but the scars look cool.

For the first time, I no longer wanna erase those memories. I guess that's what healing feels like.

Thanks a tonne to @cinemanextdoor_ and @underline.center for organizing the screening. See you next week hopefully. by @ufcblr

As films about filmmaking go. This was a cut above the rest. One of my favourite filmmakers making a film about one of the greats. Affirms so many of my beliefs about making cinema. So wish it would have gotten a theatrical release here.
One I'm gonna visit many times, but first gotta re-watch Breathless with an all new perspective

Film: Nouvelle Vague
Director: Richard Linklater by @ufcblr

This is a film I'd like to claim as part of the Musalman cinematic universe. Effortlessly cool, relentless action and highly political. There was no way this movie was getting a certificate in India cause given their track record this would have become a short film with everything good taken out. And what a pleasure it was to watch @adithi_k finally getting her due, super proud of what you've achieved. Dev Patel take a bow. This film is a masterpiece. The kinda film I hope I'd made.

Rating: 8/10
Where to watch: You know where

Finally decided to watch to see what the fuss was about and boy is it worse than anything I could have ever imagined possible. Nothing justifies assembling such a fantastic cast to read such godawful lines in the most amateur way possible. Where the entire plot is painfully spelled out. I guess there's a reason this isn't streaming anywhere coz it's a film I wish I could erase from memory. Do something better with your time. by @ufcblr
