Here’s to making art like we used too ⋆˚𝜗𝜚˚⋆ by @uglyhoneyla
Yesterday we spent the day at Timewarp market selling Ugly Honey tote bags— the story behind them literally made one girl walking by tear up. 🥲 Here’s what our little sign said: “Ugly Honey is an art club for creating freely. No expectations, just play. At our very first gathering, fifteen of us sat on the floor, painting doodles, nonsense, and meditative little marks across a giant roll of canvas. We switched spots and colors every few minutes, letting go of control and remembering that it’s about the process, not the outcome. The painted squares on these tote bags come from that very canvas—hand-cut by us to give that collective piece a new life. Cut up, recycled, a little ugly, a little beautiful — exactly what Ugly Honey is all about. by @uglyhoneyla
We’ve been reminded lately how important is it to take care of ourselves and our community. We can’t wait to create and detach together again soon. We love you LA!!! ⋆.˚⟡ ࣪ ˖ by @uglyhoneyla
