Magic in the North Georgia Mountains
Escaping to Uhuburg Castle

On a camping trip decades ago, a married couple sat perched on a boulder, watching the sun lowering over the Appalachian Mountains. They had little to their name and were drinking the cheapest wine you could buy, but they smiled regardless.

Nearby, watching them admiringly, was their son. In that moment, he noticed that all that seemed to matter to his parents was each other and the sunset. They couldn’t have known it then, but this would be a defining moment for their son Bob Marthai—one that would continue to inspire him to pursue truth, sail ships, and dream big.

Uhuburg Castle is a product of that dream. Situated on 45 acres at the top of a wooded mountain knoll in Helen, Georgia, Uhuburg Castle is Marthai’s masterpiece, giving visitors an opportunity to escape from the ordinary, step into the magic, and yes, even spend the night.

We are honored to announce that @thesteampunkin has found its new home here at Uhuburg Castle! ✨✨✨

This special arrival carries with it the memory of Stacey, its beloved creator and curator, whose artistic talents, contagious smile, and gift for building deep, lasting friendships changed communities far and wide. Stacey was one of a kind, and her absence is deeply felt by all who knew and loved her. Her creativity, passion, warmth, and spirit will never be forgotten. We fell in love with Stacey and her SteamPunkin during @mirthandmischieflive in 2025, and it's truly an honor that we were on a short list of where her closest friends and family knew she would want the SteamPunkin to be.

We are grateful to help carry her legacy forward by welcoming the SteamPunkin to Uhuburg where it will continue to spark curiosity and the following of dreams, bring people together, and inspire smiles and wonder.

Here’s to Stacey, her extraordinary talent, and the joy she brought into the world. She is dearly missed, fondly remembered, and forever with us.

We'll take it from here Stacey ❤️
