Ultimate Tracking Course ✅ Huge congrats to our newest instructors having completed 3 days of intense training. What a lovely group of trainers and dogs, we thoroughly enjoyed having you all. Time to head home for some well earned rest. We had the pleasure of having @connectiegerichttrainen all the way from the Netherlands, @dogmatise from Bristol, @puppyschool_mc from Cheshire and @yess_dogz from the Wirral. Thanks so much for all traveling to join us, we can’t wait to see you all get started on your tracking journey 😊 by @uksnifferdogs

Congratulations to our newest Ultimate Tracking Instructors. It’s been an amazing 3 days jam packed of all things tracking. These are our first cohort of instructors that have completed the ultimate tracking course which enables them to teach bronze, silver and gold levels. Well done to you all, fab group of trainers. We look forward to seeing you get started! @connectiegerichttrainen @puppyschool_mc @yess_dogz @dogmatise by @uksnifferdogs

🎃👻 GHOSTS OF SCENT PAST!

Our October Academy Challenge is NOW LIVE! 🐾

This month, we’re getting spooky with a Halloween-themed line-up designed to test your dog’s ability to work through residual odour and find where the scent is NOW, not where it was before! 👀

👻 10 objects
🎃 4 laps
🐕 One very clever nose!

Academy members, head over to Bronze Academy Videos to watch the challenge and give it a go!

Not part of the Academy yet? Join us via the link in our bio and get involved!

We can’t wait to see your dogs tackling those ghosts of scent past! 👻🐾

Yesterday we braved it out into the storm to do our annual pumpkin sniffing session at the pumpkin farm 🚜.
Photos and videos was limited but I can assure you the rain wasn't limited 😂.
The dogs did really well to still want to push through the rain and carry on doing what they love ❤️
A video to follow 😍

🐾 When we use scent, we’re speaking the dog’s language! 👃

Scent work is SO much more than teaching dogs to find a smell!

It’s about improving welfare, supporting behaviour and unlocking the incredible potential of that nose! 🐶

The find is exciting. But what else could happen along the way? 🐾

A dog getting an opportunity to build confidence. An owner discovering a rewarding way to engage with their dog. A trainer finding another approach to support their behaviour work.

That’s what our new Beyond the Search CPD Day is all about.

We’ll explore how scent detection can complement your work with reactivity, fear-based behaviours, puppy challenges and more—and how to adapt activities to suit individual dogs.

Through real-life case studies, live demonstrations and discussion, you’ll leave with practical ideas to bring into your own one-to-one training and behaviour sessions.

Open to all trainers—you don’t need to be a UK Sniffer Dogs Instructor.

Ready to think beyond the find?

🐾 What a fantastic day at DogX 2026!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our demonstration! We hope you enjoyed it and took away some new ideas. And a special shout-out to our canine superstars Oreo and Hobbs, who were absolutely brilliant in what could have been a challenging environment! ❤️

Our message? Scent is SO much more than searching! When we use scent, we’re speaking our dogs’ language! 🐽

💷🐾 SNIFF SMART, SPEND LESS!
Nemo and I had a little go at one of our latest scentwork challenges before class this week!
The aim? Find the hides whilst spending as little of our imaginary budget as possible! 💰
A fun game that gets handlers thinking about their positioning, distance handling and how independently their dogs can work.
Although sometimes you've just got to splash the cash to help your dog out! 😂
Would you and your dog be good at sticking to a budget?

🐾 Love trying new scentwork games with your dog? You'll find plenty more challenges and training inspiration inside our Sniffer Dogs Academy!
