Session #3 of our Unidas en Comunidad summer camp series really cemented why we’re out here. Our girls need a space where joy and belonging is priority. Community goes beyond the court.

Shout out to all partners that made this possible.

Shout out to my village that has supported my BABY UnidasxElla. Thankful we’re able to curate unique experiences and create a space where young athletes, especially latinas feel supported.

Our Unidas en Comunidad 3-part camp series in partnership with @lavalleywbb @shoepalace @ellasportsfdn has shown us there really is a need for this space. Our attendance has increased from 32 participants Session 1 to 50 during Session 2. That’s clear numbers right there!

To do this and have it completely accessible with no cost to families or athletes is something I hope to continue for as long as I can.

Sitting in a lot of gratitude and excitement for what the future holds. 🫶🏽

One of our priorities?

Leading with connection. Building friendships that go beyond the court. Creating a safe space where young girls feel empowered to take risks, support one another, and grow together.

Enjoy some of our favorite buddy shots from Session 2 🤩

@jdsportsus & @latinxwithplants helped us cook up a really special night for some of our Unidas coaches and their mothers/matriarch figures.🌸

This was a beautiful night spent en comunidad, celebrating two generations of women that pour so deeply and intentionally into others. This night was about filling their cups and sharing gratitude for the way basketball has brought all of us together. From mother’s conviviendo in the stands, to athletes competing against one another on the floor, to strangers turned comadres…

Our upbringing certainly has an impact on our decision-making throughout life. We’re grateful our coaches’ decisions have led them to grow into who they are and impact the way they do. And we really wanted to give roses where roses were due. ✨

We’re building something really special with Unidas. Having 20 VOLUNTEER & DIVERSE female coaches in one gym pouring into 30+ young female athletes still sounds wild to me. Almost a 1:1 ratio from coach to player! From day one, it’s always been about access, representation, and cultural empowerment… and I truly feel like we’ve stayed grounded in that.

Unidas en Comunidad….a FREE 3-Part Camp Series 🏀

Session 1 was incredible this past April.
Session 2 is coming up on May 17th.
Session 3 loading after the summer on August 8th. ✨

If you want to learn more, pull up as an athlete, or support in any way to elevate this experience — AVÍSAME! 🫡🏀

Big love to @lavalleywbb @ellasportsfdn @shoepalace for coming together and helping us bring this to life. 🤝🏽
