AI adoption is moving from experimentation to enterprise execution. The question is no longer just where AI can be applied, but how organizations can build a clear business case and translate AI investments into measurable outcomes.

Uniqus, in partnership with Oracle, is bringing together technology and business leaders for a half-day leadership forum on Driving Enterprise AI Adoption across Finance and Supply Chain.

Meet the speakers:
Bharat Chadha | Monosij (Mono) Sinha | Sultan Kreishan, CSCP, TOGAF, PMP | Bala Gopalan

The discussion will explore how organizations can approach AI adoption across critical functions, focusing on the business case, practical use cases, and the path from AI ambition to implementation.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝘄𝗿𝗮𝗽 𝗼𝗻 𝗠&𝗔 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲!

What a great few days in Philadelphia connecting with private equity professionals, investment bankers, advisors, and leaders from across the M&A community.

Our #Uniqus team enjoyed reconnecting with familiar faces, building new relationships, and exchanging perspectives on the opportunities and challenges shaping today’s deal environment.

At Uniqus, we support investors and their portfolio companies throughout the deal lifecycle, from transaction readiness and financial due diligence support to post-close integration, finance transformation, and ongoing accounting and reporting needs. Our focus is on helping businesses navigate complexity, accelerate value creation, and build scalable finance functions.

A big thank you to ACG Philadelphia for another fantastic event and to everyone who took the time to connect with our team. We look forward to continuing the conversations!

It is chasing status on email. Rebuilding the checklist from last period. Reassembling the audit file when the query arrives. Reconstructing who approved what, and when.

None of this is judgment work, but it quietly consumes the close.

The FSCP module of Reporting UniVerse is built around one discipline: every task has an owner, a dependency, a deadline and a deliverable, and nothing reaches the financial statements until it has been signed off. You stop chasing status and start reading it.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲:

• One checklist library inherited by every entity, so the smallest subsidiary closes to the same standard as the parent
• Tasks linked to general ledger (GL) codes and confirmed inline against the trial balance (TB), so “done” means reconciled
• Support attached once, at the activity, so the audit file assembles itself as you work
• Layered approvals, with an approval trail written as it happens and exportable
• Dashboards and a live close calendar that surface the bottleneck on day three, not in the post-mortem

In our view, the most important part is the handoff. When a task closes, its finalized items and supporting documents pass straight into reporting. The close and the financial statements become one system, instead of two teams reconciling with each other.

Our short video walks through how it works.

𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗲𝘁? For AI revenue, the answer depends less on who runs the model and more on who holds the contract.

In 𝗕𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 | 𝗜𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲 𝟬𝟭: 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀, we set out three questions to decide whether a company is a principal or an agent:

• Is the end customer your customer?
• Do you control what they receive?
• Do you set the price and carry the risk?

Yes to all three generally points to reporting what the customer pays. A no can mean reporting only your margin. And where the end customer belongs to a host, revenue is what the host pays you.

In our view, the invoice alone rarely settles the question. Two companies can pass the same dollar of AI spend through similar technology and report very different revenue because their contracts differ.

For CFOs and audit committee members, the answer flows into reported revenue, gross margin, and the metrics investors use to compare AI businesses. The contract analysis should be documented before the revenue line is set, not after.

Which of the three questions is hardest to answer in your contracts?

A hedge accounting process can look controlled on paper. Until you trace the workflow end-to-end.

- A swap gets designated.
- The memo sits in one folder.
- The valuation curve sits somewhere else.
- The effectiveness test lives in a workbook only one person understands.
- Then that person leaves.

The issue is not necessarily the valuation itself. It is the fragmented trail around it.

UniTreasury was built to address that gap by connecting designation, valuation, effectiveness testing, journals, and disclosures into a single controlled workflow, with supporting evidence captured as the work progresses.

Because every handoff is a potential point where the audit trail can break.

The question is not whether your hedge accounting process works today. It is whether someone else could rerun and defend it tomorrow.

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘆.

Treasury workflows often span market data, valuation, hedge accounting, journal entries, and disclosures, with critical information moving across spreadsheets, emails, and manual processes.

#UniTreasury brings these workflows together on a single, controlled platform.

Powered by #AI agents and guided by our team, it connects the flow from market data to #valuation, hedge #accounting, and disclosures, while keeping every figure traceable to its source.

What UniTreasury brings together:
• Market data to valuation in one connected workflow
• AI agents with humans in the loop
• A complete #audit trail across the process
• From the first input to the final disclosure, UniTreasury helps treasury accounting be more connected, controlled, and traceable.

We are heading to M&A East in Philadelphia, where our team will be bringing together perspectives on the full M&A lifecycle, from pre-transaction advisory to post-transaction support and value creation.

M&A decisions extend well beyond the transaction itself. Understanding the financial, accounting, operational, and strategic considerations before a deal, and having the right support to create value after it closes, can make a meaningful difference to the outcome.

Meet the Uniqus team at M&A East to discuss your priorities, explore potential opportunities, and exchange perspectives on the evolving M&A landscape. by @uniqusc

We are pleased to introduce By Design, a new series exploring the accounting decisions companies make before they realize they are making them.

In Issue 01, “Follow the Contracts,” Geoffrey Allen, Partner, Accounting & Reporting Consulting, examines gross versus net revenue recognition when AI models are sold through cloud partners.

Key takeaways:
- The contract matters: Revenue presentation depends on who the customer is and what the contract promises.
- Principal vs. agent: Control over the service, pricing, and risk helps determine whether revenue is reported gross or net.
- Design for the right outcome: Accounting considerations should be built into contract design and commercial negotiations, not addressed only at the reporting stage.

How early does your organization consider revenue recognition implications when structuring commercial agreements?
