On Wednesday Feb 26th it was a normal sunny day off. Around 10am I decided to test my luck and hit some twistys not realizing this would be a fatal mistake. I went a few times through out look out, stopped. Got some amazing footage for content later down the line, and decided it was time to go home. 50-60 mph turns, fully suited. Many dont know, that day I also dumped the bike previous to my crash. My first time down. Ever. I panicked, got my breath and pulled my 400+ lb bike out the ditch on the side of the road and told my self its time to go home. Take it easy. That’s when chaos ensued. As I was 2 blocks away from my OWN home in my OWN neighborhood. A blue SUV ran a stop sign while Im riding 20-30mph . Not enough time to react, brakes lock up.

Car / Suv takes off, im in another world. I cant understand whats happening, and everything hurts. I cant feel my legs, i cant breathe right…. Ambulance arrived. Took my suit off, and attempted to close the suture on my broken knee cap which was exposed and bleeding everywhere. I’ve never felt pain this way… Im scared, Im afraid, Im losing consciousness on the way to the hospital.

6 broken ribs
Broken femur
Broken Knee cap
Torn tendons .

All in the span of .5 seconds. My life flashed before my eyes. These are the last moments captured on photo/ video before everything went tumbling down.

This was one of if not, the most hardest thing Ive ever had to do in my life, and if i took anything away from this its a few things id like to share

1. No one is invincible. No matter who you are what you do.
2. Life can change forever in an instant
3. I am one of the luckiest people ever to withstand two crashes back to back within an hour of eachother
4. Your gear matters more than you think, your life is worth more than thousands of dollars. Treat it so.
& 5. I have a great support system and amazing family / friends who have helped me get through this so im not alone.

I just wanted to share my story, and thats it. I hope my story changes the thoughts and perspectives of others and helps others realize how important it is to be fully geared no matter what bike you ride.

I will say, im not done. by @unknwnc5

I hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
