Cold winter days and a wood-fired sauna waiting for you afterwards… ❄️

Imagine spending the day exploring the Lake District, taking in the frosty views and crisp winter air, before heading back to your accommodation to warm up in our wood-fired sauna. It’s one of our favourite features of our accommodation, especially at this time of year!

Thinking about a winter getaway? Take a look at our accommodation and plan your next stay.

Autumn is turning into winter here in the Lake District and it’s a lovely time to plan a few days away! 🍂

Think crisp morning walks, afternoons exploring the surrounding villages and evenings back at your accommodation, putting your feet up after a day out.

Our accommodation gives you a comfortable base to explore the area, with our art gallery, Puppet Museum and café right here on site too.

Fancy a few days away before the year is out? Have a look at our accommodation and availability on our website. 🏡

After a day out exploring the Lake District, there’s nothing better than having somewhere comfortable to come back to. Our living room is the perfect space for the family to put their feet up, play a few games or settle down for a cosy evening together.

And with so much to explore right on our doorstep, it’s a lovely base for your next family getaway! 🌿

Autumn weekends in the Cumbrian countryside 🍂🏡

Our accommodation at Upfront is a little different from your normal Lake District stay. Created from repurposed shipping containers, our spaces have everything you need for a few days away, with a wood-fired sauna and hot tub on site too. Spend the day exploring the Lakes, come back to somewhere cosy and enjoy an evening without having to rush anywhere.

Not a bad way to spend an autumn weekend!

Somewhere to sleep is easy. Somewhere you’ll actually remember is harder to find. 🌿

Our accommodation started life as shipping containers, now transformed into a completely different place to stay in the Cumbrian countryside. With your own outdoor space, a wood-fired sauna and hot tub on site, it’s somewhere to properly switch off after a day exploring.

Definitely not your average hotel room. 🏡

A little look at something else you can enjoy while staying with us 🌿

Our wood-fired sauna is on site, with plenty of room to sit back, warm up and switch off for a while. Perfect after a day exploring the Lakes, especially now those colder autumn days are setting in. 🍂

From shipping containers to somewhere you can spend a few days in the Lakes. 🌿

Our accommodation has been created using repurposed containers, giving them a completely new life and making for a stay that’s a bit different from your usual hotel room. Head out and explore Cumbria for the day, then come back, get the hot tub going or spend some time in the wood-fired sauna.

Would you stay here?

Fancy disappearing for a few days? 🌄

Our accommodation is a perfect if you want a break in Cumbria without being too far from the main Lake District. You have countryside around you, Keswick and Penrith within reach, and the café, venue and museum all on site.
It works well for families, couples, creative breaks or anyone who just needs a few days away.

Spend the day exploring, come back to your own space and enjoy being somewhere that feels a bit different from a standard hotel stay.

Our accommodation isn’t your usual hotel room 🌿

Created from repurposed shipping containers, it gives you somewhere a little different to come back to after a day exploring Cumbria.
Then there’s the hot tub and wood-fired sauna waiting when you’re done for the day. Where you sleep doesn’t have to be the boring part of the trip!

Somewhere to sleep is easy. Somewhere you’ll actually remember is better. 🌿

Our accommodation is a little different. Built using repurposed shipping containers, with plenty of character and the Lake District right there to explore. Spend the day out in the Lakes, come back for a soak in the hot tub or warm up in the wood-fired sauna, then settle in for the evening 🏡
