Straight from the sewers, @cat.hexes totally awesome mural is at the intersection of Young & Larch! Huge thanks to @everlinecoatingssudbury for making this one happen!

“DRAINS FOR STORMWATER FLOW DIRECTLY INTO BODIES OF WATER WITHOUT TREATMENT is a large-scale version of the yellow fish markings often seen around storm drains. These serve as a reminder that all the run off from roads, roofs, and lawns eventually makes it way to rivers and lakes within the city. Things like garbage, soaps, pesticides, and oils have detrimental effects on local fish habitats. Our collective awareness and action can help reduce the environmental impact. The colours of the fish are those used in road markings as if the fish is part of the road ecosystem. It indicates the inseparable link between our municipal infrastructure and environmental systems.”

Another thanks to @barrydownepaint and @equipmentworld_inc for making our murals happen every single year.

Wanna see me eat my first fried Oreo while I do projections at Up Here Fest? 🇨🇦✨
Quick recap of double duty in Sudbury:
1. Set up the rig at Place des Arts to map live projections for an unreal lineup of artists 🎥
2. Closed out the festival on drums with Boutique Feelings 🥁
3. Ate my first fried Oreo in the booth (shoutout Sam Woy for the hookup) 🍪 IT WAS JUST OK AHAHA!

"Inspired on the Indigenous wisdom taught by the different cultures of the American continent, when the eagle of the north and the condor of the south fly together, a worldwide awakening of consciousness will consequently begin."

@miskopwagan.asin 's mural “Renewal” is behind 84 Station! This rad mural has officially finished getting its coat of paint. So if you’re looking for something to do, stop in and check it out!

"Renewal explores the interconnected themes of rest and awakening. The mural begins with a sleeping figure, recognizing rest as an essential first step toward renewal. Slowly, the figures eyes open, transitioning into a state of awakening. Surrounding the figure, blooming florals act as a visual symbol of transformation and renewal."

Huge thanks to @barrydownepaint and @equipmentworld_inc for making our murals happen every single year.
