It's finally beginning to look like a proper jungle cactus 🌵🌿

Now to stop chopping it 🙃✂️

At least the caladiums are loving this weather 🌞

I've put all of my supermarket caladiums in self watering pots in sphagnum moss and they seem to be doing well so far.

I may have a horrible cold but at least this gal looks great.

He's in the one leaf club but who cares when your one leaf looks this good 😘

I picked this up from the freebie table at @another.plant.swap - you never know what you'll find in the mad chaos of the freebie table.

Using root rot as an excuse for a little photoshoot 💚🙃

Saw a bunch of bugs on the top of the semi hydro, had a little panic and then I realised they're springtails. Beneficial bugs, phew. But oh no why are there so many of them, something has to be rotting down there... 🙃🫠 I think the grade of semi hydro may have been too fine. That and turning off the grow light by accident and not noticing for two weeks.

Update on my Bristol swap seedling. I'm loving the dark greens on this one 🌑 💚🖤

Baby plants are great - smol, space efficient & fit inside of upcycled plastic cups so you don't have water them much - but it's also nice when a plant is ready for an upgrade. Time to move this gal into its first self watering pot.

(Also does anyone else avoid using dashes now, even if they used them a lot before the rise of LLMs? I miss them.)

In their natural environment of @kewgardens, here we can see a troop of planty people in the wild. Easily identified by their seemingly random vocalisations of “Banana” and “That’s what she said”, this group examined and documented their surroundings, the concentration clear on their faces and in their body language.
As they moved from greenhouse to greenhouse, they moved in concert ensuring no member of the pack was left behind.
And so we leave them, peacefully gathering sustenance (and items that seemed to be of ritual importance) in the cafe and gift shop, these noisy but gentle planty people in the wild. by @urban.aroids

Breaking the anthurium run with this hoya. I have half an idea to try and get a pot with all the different cultivars. But also the variegated ones are spenny 💸

I got this leafless bottom cut at the London @another.plant.swap and it's been a long wait to see what this hybrid's leaf would look like 😍
