“There is a love of farming in our veins that has kept us farming for generations."

- Francisco Alejandro Urias
April 14, 1954 - December 21, 2024

It's been a hard couple of weeks, but I want to thank everyone for the continued support and lovely messages.

Dec 21, 2024:
It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Tio Alejandro. After a brave battle with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, he has left us, but his spirit will forever remain in our hearts and in the fields of Urias Farm.

We are immensely grateful for all the support and love you’ve shown during his treatment and recovery journey. Tio Alejandro was not just a caretaker of our date palms; he was the heart of our family, a source of strength and inspiration for us all.

We love and miss you rest in peace, Tio Alejandro. You will be deeply missed. by @uriasfarm

An important update for our new season:

As we approach September, our medjool dates will be unavailable until further notice. Purchasing honey will still be available through our Instagram account. For the past year, my Uncle Alejandro, who tends our date palms, has been undergoing chemotherapy to treat non hodgkin's lymphoma. We are very excited to announce that he is in remission.

Urias Farm appreciates all of your amazing support as we are taking this time to focus on Alejandro’s health and recovery. Thank you for your love, patience, and kindness and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.
