My race of the year🏁; @ultra_scotland 100M 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 169km, 5459 m elevation gain.

For me, the 100M trail ultra is my kind of mind game. I love it. Again, being the only Norwegian, trail- and mudtrashing , hanging out with new trailrunning buddies and having serious fun for almost 29 hours🤟
Epic experience with the sound of bagpipes, fabulous nature and wonderful race organizers

@sormlands100_trail_run 173K. Almost like @nekrotrail, but twice as far, and in 🇸🇪. Trailtrashin, hanging out with new running buddies and having a ball for over 27 hours.
Epic experience, fabulous trails, perfect raceorganizer and lovely support by wifey ❤️ by @utogoppolini

Deep down in the Norwegian forest…
…we witness a rare and perplexing sight: the Scandinavian trail runner, venturing bravely across Bjørnsjøhelvete — a location feared by locals, avoided by wildlife, and mispronounced by tourists.
Observe how the creature tiptoes across the narrow bridge, displaying a level of balance usually reserved for squirrels and questionable circus acts.
Note the determined expression — a mix of primal instinct, mild confusion, and the sudden realization that he forgot snacks.
Should he survive this crossing, he will continue his migration through the forest, stopping only to pretend he’s enjoying himself. by @utogoppolini

My 24 hour mindfulness tip; Take the nighttrain to Finse (1222 masl), start running at 4 am, watch the sunrise light up the mountains one hour later and have ball in awesome surroundings for 12 hours, close it up at Haugastøl with a cold beer and a pizza, before taking the train back to the city.
Mindfullness isn’t my thing though. Or maybe… by @utogoppolini

June. Worked out well🤟.
The aftermath of Ultra Scotland🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿, aka goal of the year, didn’t last long. Luckily 😅. My pineapple plans post summer includes yet another 100M in 🇸🇪 🦄. by @utogoppolini
