Every step was a statement. Every voice carried a message. Every person who showed up helped make the conversation about cance a little louder.

Our cancer awareness walk was more than a walk. It was a call to prioritise our health, encourage early detection, and remind one another that taking care of ourselves matters.

With free breast, cervical, and other health screenings, we brought awareness closer to action because healthcare conversations should lead to healthcare decisions.

To everyone who walked, supported, screened, volunteered, or helped make this possible: thank you for being part of something meaningful.

The walk may be over, but the message continues.

Know your body. Prioritise your health. Get screened. Encourage someone else to do the same.

It was a privilege to be part of GES 3.0!

Joined with an incredible gathering of women, sharing insights and conversations that matter for the wellbeing and empowerment of our girls.

It was inspiring to share the space with Emeritus Professor Ifeoma Okoye, Coach Uzoamaka Nwachukwu, Barr. Ngozi Ikem Okoye, Evelyn Chioma Joseph, Rachael Obagiere Edeh, Akuabata Ezeh and Ifeyinwa Ogbue.

Thank you, U-TOLF, for bringing these powerful voices together. May the conversations continue to make a difference in the lives of young girls.

When women come together, girls gain more than inspiration; they gain knowledge, confidence and possibilities.

SHE CAME. SHE LEARNED. SHE LEFT WITH POSSIBILITIES.

On Wednesday, 28th October, U-TOLF brought together young girls in Enugu for the Girls Empowerment Summit 3.0, themed “Educate, Elevate & Empower”. It was a day of learning, inspiration, meaningful conversations, and renewed confidence. Girls gained knowledge on breast cancer, menstrual hygiene, mental health, capacity building, and were introduced to STEM career opportunities.

From powerful conversations to moments of discovery, the summit reminded every girl in the room that her voice matters, her dreams are valid, and her future is worth investing in.

This wasn’t just another event, It was an opportunity to plant seeds of confidence, ambition, and possibility
For us, this is only the beginning.

Thanks to all our facilitators for sharing in their wealth of knowledge and making the girls feel seen

*Girls Empowerment Summit, GES 3.0 2026*

We leveraged the month of October, by celebrating The International Day of the Girl Child, which reminded us of the importance of protecting every girl child and creating a safe environment where they can grow, learn and thrive, also promoting their rights, safety, education, health, and overall well-being.
‎
‎In addition, we took time to highlight the importance of emotional, psychological, and social well-being, and encouraged open conversations, self-care, seeking professional help when needed, and eliminating the stigma associated with mental health challenges. And a lot more.
‎
‎Special appreciation to U-Tolf, @utolf for organising Girls Empowerment Summit, GES 3.0, with the theme Elavate, Educate and Empower. I'm always fulfilled to be part of the Girl Child Movement and Women's Rights.

🌸 A little walk for a greater cause!
Today, I had the opportunity to join U-TOLF and other amazing partners for a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, alongside free breast and cervical cancer screening.

A beautiful reminder that awareness is important, but early detection is life-saving. Sometimes, taking a step towards saving a life begins with simply sharing the right information and encouraging someone to get screened.
Grateful to be part of an initiative that promotes healthier communities. ❤️

Early detection saves lives! 🩷
