Dear @diljitdosanjh
Your voice reaches millions across generations, bringing people together through music, culture, and pure emotion. Today, our rivers—especially the sacred Ganga—and our land desperately need that same powerful voice.
Our rivers are dying, choked by waste, plastic, and pollution. Every single piece of trash thrown into a river or onto the ground pollutes the very source of life that sustains us all. When you speak, people truly listen; your humble words have the power to touch hearts and inspire real change.
A Humble Appeal to Everyone:
* Respect Our Rivers: Never dump garbage, plastic, or harmful waste into rivers, streams, or water bodies. Water is life—let us treat it with the respect and reverence it deserves.
* Keep Our Land Clean: Dispose of waste properly in designated bins. A clean land ensures clean water and a healthier future for our children.
* Spread the Word: Take responsibility in your daily lives and encourage family, friends, and neighbors to protect our natural surroundings.
Diljit, a simple appeal from you can spark a movement of mindfulness and care across the country. Let us come together to keep our rivers flowing clean and our earth green. by @uttarakhandreeldiaries

To
The District Magistrate (DM)
The Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM)
Panchayat Representatives
Department Officials, PWD & Namami Gange Project
Respected Public Servants and Representatives,
I am writing to formally draw your immediate attention to pressing issues surrounding the execution, durability, and financial oversight of local infrastructure projects, specifically regarding road construction, drainage systems, and Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs) under PWD and Namami Gange.
Key Concerns:
* Recurring Infrastructure Work and Budget Waste:
There is growing concern regarding the repeated repair and reconstruction of the same roads, drainage networks, and STPs within short timeframes. This practice leads to avoidable expenditure of public funds and suggests a lack of durable materials or proper quality checks during initial execution.
* Environmental and Ecological Impact:
Substandard construction practices and delayed or malfunctioning sewage treatment solutions contribute directly to soil erosion, runoff, and the pollution of local waterways, including the Ganges river basin. Ensuring strict compliance with environmental protection standards is essential to prevent long-term ecological damage.
* Need for Transparency and Quality Control:
To maximize the impact of public funds on our local and national economy, strict accountability measures must be enforced. Financial leakage, unnecessary delays, and poor execution severely hinder economic growth and community well-being.
Requested Actions:
* Conduct an independent audit and quality inspection of recently completed and ongoing projects under PWD and Namami Gange.
* Institute strict penalties and liability clauses for contractors whose work fails standard durability tests within short periods.
* Ensure full transparency in budget allocation, procurement, and tender awarding processes.
* Implement robust environmental safeguards to prevent untreated waste and runoff from entering river ecosystems.
We request your prompt intervention to ensure that public funds are utilized effectively, infrastructure is built to last, and our environment is protected.

Thankyou
