POSTS STORIES REELS

Hey there 👋 I’m Veronica, but my friends call me V.

My husband Dan and I moved from Atlanta to the Vail Valley in our 50s after spending decades vacationing here with our family. We were looking for more time outdoors, a slower pace, and a lifestyle built around the things we love.

We have three kids in their 20s. Alexa and Rhys graduated from CU Boulder, Kyle attends CU Denver, and like many parents, we’re navigating the empty-nest years while cheering our kids on as they build lives of their own. Alexa recently moved back to Atlanta to start her career, while our boys are in Denver.

Atlanta gave us so much, and it will always be home. But after years of traffic, humidity, and constant hustle, we were ready for something different.

My parents first brought our family to Vail in 1982, and what started as a vacation became a lifelong connection to this valley. We moved to Colorado in 2022 and officially made Eagle Ranch our new home in 2024 and it works for us.

I’ve been a Realtor since 2002 (practicing in GA & CO) and now I love helping others find their own version of mountain living…whether that’s a second home, investment property, or a full-time move.

💬 I was born in Argentina and raised by Argentine parents, so Spanish was my first language. I speak both English and Spanish and am happy to help clients in either language.

Born in Argentina. Raised in Atlanta. Living my mountain dream in Colorado.

If you’re dreaming of life in the mountains, I’d love to help you figure out if the Vail Valley could be home for you too. 😊 by @v_in_vail

What do you need to consider before you buy a place in the Vail Valley?

First, I get the dream. I started coming to Vail in 1982 with my parents who had a home here. It was our yearly place. I told myself I’d live here one day and here I am.

✅ 1. Vail is not one town.
The Vail Valley runs from East Vail to Gypsum. Prices, feel and pace change a lot from one town to the next. Figure out which one fits before you fall in love with a listing.

✅ 2. Every location is a tradeoff.
Walking to Vail Village is one way to live here. Having more space for your money is another. Closer to the village usually means paying more for less square footage. Neither is wrong. The right one depends on how you’ll use the home.

✅ 3. Plan for more than ski season.
Summer, fall, golf, mountain biking. Be honest about how often you’ll really be here. A home you use a few weekends a year is a different purchase than one you use for months.

✅ 4. Check the rental rules before you buy.
If you want rental income, not every building or HOA allows short-term rentals. Confirm what’s allowed first, then run the real numbers on income, HOA dues and taxes.

✅ 5. Think about who else will use it.
Adult kids, friends, guests. That changes how many bedrooms you need, where people park and how close you want to be to things to do.

I help second-home buyers, investors and people relocating to Colorado find the right fit in Vail, Beaver Creek, Avon, Edwards, Eagle and beyond, while making sure it’s still a smart purchase.

Whether you’re an empty nester thinking about relocating to Colorado, looking for a Vail Valley second home or considering an investment property, sometimes the town you think you want isn’t the one you fall in love with.

Make sure you’re following @v_in_vail so my guide gets through to you.

Golf course views. Castle Peak in the windows. A walk-in pantry that has to be seen to be believed.

Comment “213” and I’ll send you all the details on this one. Make sure you’re following @v_in_vail so my message can get through.

Come winter, the Eagle Ranch golf course turns into a free cross-country ski area. About 6 miles of groomed trail, open to the public, plus room for snowshoeing, walking, and dogs on leash. This home overlooks it, near the 16th tee box.

After a day out there, you come home to a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, a great room with custom built-ins and high ceilings, and unobstructed southern golf course views. The oversized 3-car garage leads into a mudroom with plenty of space to shed the snow gear.

And Beaver Creek and Vail are 30 minutes away.

Here’s the breakdown:

✅ 4 bedrooms + private office | 5 baths
✅ 4,489 sq ft
✅ 0.63-acre lot
✅ Golf course, mountain, and Castle Peak views
✅ Main-level primary suite with a 5-piece bath + built-out closet
✅ Open kitchen: large center island, Thermador appliances, walk-in pantry
✅ Expansive south-facing patio
✅ Oversized heated 3-car garage
✅ 3 ensuite bedrooms + 2 more living spaces upstairs
✅ 1,200 sq ft unfinished lower level (fitness studio, golf simulator, bunk room, bar, or home theater)
✅ Short-term rentals permitted

Come for the sunshine on the patio. Stay for the fire.

Comment “213” and I’ll send you all the details. Make sure you’re following @v_in_vail so my message can get through.

Walk-to, Ski in / Ski out costs more.

It’s a premium, and it’s built into the price.

So ask yourself what you’d rather spend it on:

⛷️ Ski in / Ski out every day
🏡 Or drive/shuttle a few minutes and potentially get a bigger home or more property for the same money

A bigger place can mean room for your kids, your friends and your family to come visit. For a lot of second-home buyers, that’s what makes the house feel like home.

Buying it as an investment property? Then it’s not just about you. Make sure it’s the right mix for how you’ll use it personally. If you plan to rent it out, think about what your renters will want too. Being closer to the lifts or on a shuttle route matters.

There’s no right answer. It comes down to how you want to live here and how often you’ll be here.

Vail Mountain is tentatively set to open November 13th, and this is the window before the buyers fly in.

✨Starting a Vail Valley second home search, looking at an investment property, or thinking about relocating to Colorado? Figure out which town fits you first. Vail? Avon? Edwards? Eagle? Somewhere else?

.80-acre lot. Bordered by open space. Big Colorado views. Eagle Ranch community. Under 30 minutes from Vail and Beaver Creek.

This is the kind of home where the setting might be the best feature.

You’re sitting on nearly an acre at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, with open space along the property and views stretching across Castle Peak, the Flat Tops and Brush Creek Valley.

Comment “55” and I’ll send you all the details. Make sure you’re following @V_in_Vail so my message with the listing information makes it to you.

And the house was clearly designed around those views…

Big windows. A vaulted great room. A 600 sq ft covered deck. Even the breakfast nook and primary suite give you another spot to sit and take it all in.

But what I really like about this one is you’re not buying acreage somewhere completely disconnected from everything.

You’re in the Eagle Ranch community with trails, golf, parks, schools and dining nearby, plus downtown Eagle just minutes away.

It gives you that neighborhood feel while still having .80 acres, open space next door and some pretty incredible Colorado views.

And when you want a ski day? Vail and Beaver Creek are both under 30 minutes away.

Inside, you’ve got:

✅ 4 beds | 5 baths
✅ 4,225 sq ft
✅ .80-acre lot
✅ Main-level primary suite + private deck
✅ Main-level office
✅ Walk-in pantry + laundry
✅ 3-car EV-ready garage
✅ Rec room + bar
✅ Separate living/media room
✅ 3 additional bedrooms, each with a dedicated bath
✅ Potential separate ADU with private entrance
✅ 1-year builder warranty

This one feels like a Colorado house should.

Mountain views out the windows. Open space next door. Room to spread out. A real community around you.

And two world-renowned ski resorts less than 30 minutes away.

That combination of space, views, community and access to the mountains is what makes this one stand out.

Comment “55” for the details + follow @V_in_Vail so you get my message.

So here’s what’s going on with Eagle County Regional Airport…

They’ve already designed a potential international terminal. Yes… international.

It’s not built yet. Funding is still the hurdle.

And one thing that’s NOT changing…
There will always only be ONE runway.

So no, this isn’t some massive expansion.

But it is something to pay attention to.

Because every season…
more flights get added.
more direct routes show up.
and it just keeps getting easier to get here.

And if that international terminal does happen…

that’s when things start to shift.

Because Vail already has the demand.

You make it even more accessible…
and it doesn’t slow down.

It builds.

And so do prices.

📍 If you’re just starting your search into relocating, buying a 2nd property, or investing in the Vail Valley, the first thing you’ll want to get clear on is which town you want to call home, Vail, Avon, Edwards, Eagle, or somewhere else. I got you.

If you’ve ever sat on I-25 or I-70 in Denver at rush hour, you know exactly what I’m talking about. 😅

Brake lights as far as you can see.
And you’re wondering how this became normal.

I grew up in Atlanta and raised three kids there. I know traffic.

Now I live in Eagle Ranch, on the golf course, with the mountains out front.

Is there traffic in the Vail Valley? Not like that.

Unless there’s a bad accident, I-70 here moves.

The real traffic is skiers heading up on Friday afternoon and home on Sunday afternoon.

And Vail Pass closes a lot in the winter, so plan ahead.

My commute to work actually moves.

My family had a home in Vail since 1982. I dreamed about living here not just vacationing. In 2022, I finally did.

✅Vail Village: walk to the lifts and dinner.
✅ Minturn: small-town mountain feel.
✅Beaver Creek: drive up the mountain, but it has its own village and a shuttle.
✅Avon, EagleVail and Edwards: central, with condos and neighborhoods.
✅Eagle (where I live): about 30 minutes to Vail, with more space and a neighborhood feel.
✅Gypsum: room to spread out.

Same valley. Completely different daily life.

Whether you’re an empty nester thinking about relocating to Colorado, looking for a Vail Valley second home or considering an investment property, sometimes the town you think you want isn’t the one you fall in love with.

Make sure you’re following @v_in_vail so my guide gets through to you.

This is the kind of Vail condo that makes the mountain easy…

without the upkeep of owning a house on it.

The updated Steadman floor plan is 2 bedrooms and 2 baths on a single level. A wall of windows brings in light and Vail Mountain views, a stacked-stone gas fireplace anchors the living room, and each bedroom has its own bath with a frameless glass shower. It’s in the back building, which gives it a little extra distance from highway noise.

And Simba Run does the heavy lifting on amenities.

Here’s the breakdown:

✅ 2 bedrooms | 2 baths
✅ 1,059 sq ft
✅ Entry-level primary bedroom
✅ Vail Mountain views
✅ Sold furnished
✅ Full-size washer and dryer in the unit
✅ Heated underground garage + 1 assigned space
✅ Elevator access to every floor
✅ Indoor pool, outdoor hot tub, fitness center, sauna + steam room, tennis courts
✅ Short-term rentals permitted (unit is in the on-site rental program)
✅ Pets welcome (cats + dogs)
✅ HOA: $1,109.50/month, covers cable, internet, electricity, water, sewer, trash, snow removal, insurance + common area maintenance
✅ 2025 property taxes: $3,898.31
✅ Built in 1983, new roof in 2024
✅ Terms: cash, new loan, or 1031 exchange

Easy in. Easy out. Easy to leave for a week and not think about it.

You get the ski days, the après, and Vail Village on the shuttle. Without the shoveling.

Comment “2304” and I’ll send you all the details. Make sure you’re following @v_in_vail so my message can get through.
