๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ’œ From Unraveled to Rewrittenโ€ฆ A Beautiful New Chapter! ONE MORE EVENT!! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ Letโ€™s get it done!! Then we travel to lay my brother to rest. ๐Ÿ’” First, I want to sincerely thank everyone for the calls, text messages, cards, flowers, donations, prayers, and overwhelming love shown to our family during this difficult time. It means more than words could ever express. One thing no one prepares you for as a caterer and business owner is having to show up for everyone else, even when your own world feels like itโ€™s falling apart. Life doesnโ€™t stop, and neither do the commitments youโ€™ve made. I canโ€™t simply call in sick or call out because Iโ€™m grieving. Someone has been planning and looking forward to their special day for months, and they deserve the same love, dedication, and excellence I promised them, regardless of what I may be going through personally. These past two weeks have truly tested my husband and me in ways we could have never imagined. Not only am I grieving the loss of my brother, but my husband is also mourning the sudden loss of his cousin. Weโ€™ve had to find strength in moments when we barely had any left to give. But through it all, one thing has become even clearer: LOVE ON YOUR PEOPLE WHILE YOU HAVE THEM! Make the phone call, take the pictures, forgive, create the memories, and never assume there will always be tomorrow. And above all, BE KIND. Give people grace. You truly never know what someone is carrying behind their smile, their professionalism, or their ability to simply show up.
