If you wanted to come to SuolijƤrvi anyway, I think itā€™s gonna be a pretty low-key, relaxed vibe and just a nice day outside next to the lake! :) Bring a blanket if you want to hang out on the grass šŸŒ¼ There's also a cafĆ© @kuikkakafe, volleyball court, and forest paths! Sunday 28.6, 3pm, SuolijƤrvi Uimaranta I'll put the event details in my bio, xoxo #puistokonsertti #tampere #smallartistsupport by @valoa_music

Waves of White - a song I finished a year ago. Today I hear all the things Iā€™ve learned since then and would do differently - I wish the mix were cleaner, I wish I had added bass, and maybe the drums could be more interesting. But Iā€™m still proud of it. And the feeling behind the song still resonates with me - quiet winter days, white(ish) landscapes, and the strange beauty of solitude. #indiepop #reflection #musictherapy #winter by @valoa_music

Crystal Garden! It started with a simple picking pattern moving through Em G C G ā€” I just kept playing over and over. Then, while I was sitting in Jadins do PalĆ”cio de Cristal in Porto, the song and I decided to work together šŸ’œ The gardens gave the song its name and its whole atmosphere. Itā€™s on Spotify and all the places. I also put the link in my bio if that's easier šŸ˜Š #guitarflow #indieartist #jardinsdopalĆ”ciodecristal #tampereartist #discovermusic by @valoa_music

Cheers to a little video for my song ā€œI Woke Up In The Forestā€. I had so much fun making this, I was actually giggling so much. After a bit of searching, you can also find this song hiding on Spotify. It can be tricky to find though, itā€™s a bit shy. #indiepop #creativeprocess #naturevibes #smile #diymusic #musicvideo by @valoa_music
I heard Mark Nepo read his poem Breaking Surface on the Big Magic podcast with Elizabeth Gilbert (which I love), and it stopped me in my tracks. The poem goes along the lines of: Let nothing dissuade you from seeing what you see or feeling the winds that make you want to dance alone Or go where no one has yet to go. You are the only explorer. Your heart, the unreadable compass. Your soul, the shore of a promise too great to be ignored. These words resonate with me. As an artist, itā€™s easy to get pulled off course. But this poem reminded me: your path is sacred. Your art is sacred. #keepcreating #elizabethgilbert #artistjourney #soulwork by @valoa_music
