POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Today, we gathered to capture the magic of JPPilates on camera.

My goal was simple: I wanted people to see not just what JPP looks like, but how it FEELS to be a part of it. And there was no better way to tell that story than with the actual people who make this community what it is.

As the cameras started rolling and I watched my instructors and clients moving together, laughing, smiling, and filling the room with so much joy, I found myself holding back tears.

Because this time last year, this space didn’t even exist.

This time last year, I was sick to my stomach with worry. So many unknowns. So many moments of wondering, What if this doesn’t work out?

I wish I could go back and give that version of myself just a little glimpse of what was coming. Of the people who would fill this room. The magic that would happen.

I wish I could put my arm around her and whisper…

Oh, Jenn. It worked out.

And it turned out to be even more beautiful than you imagined. ❤️

Thank you to our JPP instructors @sweatwithlaurenhefez @alessandra.iacaboni @vanessareimerpilates @tashanathan_ @the.lexlevel @maeveonthemattt @merefiedler. Thank you to the clients who joined us for a morning of being on camera! And thank you to my dear friends Gaby and Sam of @bunkerhillmedia for capturing it all! taken in JPPilates by @jppilates1

Reminiscing on the best September! A month full of challenges & opportunities, smiles & laughs, and most importantly, so much love and community.

A pretty great reminder of my “why” — showing up for each and every one of you every day, and hopefully making everyone feel just a little bit better leaving than when you walked through the door.

Here’s to another month of goodness ✨ by @jppilates1

A year ago, I had just wrapped up my first weekend of Pilates teacher training with Balanced Body at Boston Body Pilates. It’s crazy how quickly a year can fly by—and somehow, saying that out loud still brings on a little imposter syndrome.

I started this journey during a particularly challenging time in my life. I grew up a competitive athlete (I am the most competitive person I know!) and went on to play Division I sports. Being an athlete was my everything, and team sports gave me a sense of purpose, connection, and joy that very few things ever have. By my mid-20s, I was feeling pretty lost and had hit a few challenges that forced me to reevaluate what the heck I was doing—and what actually made me happy.

I had been doing Pilates for years, and it gave me that same sense of strength, peace, and fulfillment I had found in sports. Then one morning, the idea slapped me across the face: I need to teach this to people.

I wanted to give others what Pilates had given me: empowerment, physical and mental strength, connection, and confidence. I had no idea how much that decision would change my life.

The last year has brought plenty of challenges and self-doubt (I am still my biggest critic), but it has also brought back my resilience, passion, and the feeling of working toward something bigger than myself. It’s even made me feel like an athlete again. (My PCP called me an athlete at my annual physical, and yes, it went straight to my head.)

But the best part of the journey has been teaching. I’ve built the most incredible community, and getting to give even a fraction of the joy Pilates has given me back to my students has been one of the most fulfilling things I’ve ever done.

Class might only be 45 minutes, but I hope the strength, confidence, and community we build extends far beyond it.

And to my family and friends: thank you for supporting the nonstop Pilates talk, countless practice hours, and crazy schedule of juggling a full-time job while teaching at my two dream studios.

One year later, I’m so glad I decided to just go for it 🦋🤍✨ by @jppilates1
