I’ve always been scared of spiders. For some reason, they always seem to come to me. I’ve seen them come down in front of me from a web in a tree I was standing under or run out to me from a counter.

Jumping spiders are the only ones that I now think are cute. This one came up to me on my lunch break the other day. They are such curious little friends. I was proud of myself for letting it get so close to me. ☺️

I put my car in reverse the other day and was horrified to see a spider on my camera. It looked like a giant spider was attacking my car.😳

What’s worst than seeing a spider on your car’s camera? Checking and not finding it. Now I just hope it somehow fell off and didn’t crawl inside. I sprayed a bunch of peppermint oil water inside to hopefully chase it away.

Phenomenal! You can also place an order to pick up in a city close to you. ☺️

My loud playlist always puts me in a good mood but if I hear crunching or chewing, my nervous system instantly gets wacky. #misophonia

Chia seeds are tiny but mighty. 🌱💪🏽
Two tablespoons of this superfood has 5 grams of protein as well as calcium, iron, fiber, omega-3 fatty acid and potassium.

Chia seeds are great for supporting blood sugar, lowering blood pressure, and help with inflammatory markers while helping to improve gut health. Aztec warriors are said to have enjoyed chia seeds for their energizing benefits. Start with having them for breakfast instead of at bedtime. 😅

Add them to overnight oats, smoothies, baked goods, homemade protein balls, or make an easy chia pudding by stirring 3 tbs of chia seeds into 1 cup of your favorite plant-based milk and putting in the fridge for at least 4 hours (overnight worlds great). You can stir in fruit, cinnamon, or chopped nuts when you are ready to enjoy.

Chia Fresca is a simple Mexican drink made by stirring chia seeds into water or coconut water. You can add lemon juice or maple syrup to sweeten or fresh fruit slices. Start with 1 tsp of chia seeds in 12 oz of water. Shake in a bottle or stir and let it sit for about 10 minutes so the chia seeds have time to absorb the water. You can play around with the measurements and even make a large pitcher.

I love making sopes with masa. Such a delicious and simple meal. I also used @liveabbots crumbles. Gluten-free and vegan of course.

Y’all! The apple fritters from @bluemoonbakerypdx made my apple fritter dreams come true. Seriously, they blew my mind. They had that classic crunch that apple fritters should have and they were just wow, perfection! It had been years since I’ve had a gluten-free vegan donut that tasted the way I remembered. I also loved the caramel apple donut and pumpkin one. So so amazing!

Ps- The donuts are not labeled vegan because they are fried in a shared fryer. They would not be safe for someone with allergies to eggs or milk.

I’ve been having so much fun making purple magic with @ubiyam Organic Ube Powder. I love how simple it is, just one ingredient. Organic ube powder! 💜 I love it in matcha or as a latte. I even made purple ube whipped cream using coconut cream!

Ube (which comes from the Philippines) isn’t just beautiful, it has fiber and antioxidants while being caffeine free.
