A girl who loves getting lost in a book 🧚‍♀️📚🌸
POSTS STORIES REELS
💛💜 Seemed fitting to post my final SOTR thoughts today 💜💛 What an incredible and amazing book. I stand on the fact that Suzanne wrote the single most gut wrenching book in the hunger games series. And I’ve probably said this a million times, but the way we know how it all ends, but we can’t help but have hope along with Haymitch is probably what hurts the most. Goodbye Haymitch Abernathy, I’m so relieved you got to have a birthday where the sun didn’t rise on the reaping and no children had to die 💜💜 PS. IM SO PUMPED TO HAVE TICKETS TO THE MOVIE PREMIERE AND I WILL BE BRINGING EXTRA TISSUES TO CRY INTO 😭😭😭 #sunriseonthereaping #hungergames #haymitch #bookstagram #reading “ by @veloriellereads

What were your favorite October reads?? I love everything I’ve read this October! 🎃🎃🎃 I’m happy I got to do my spooky reads although I really have to lock in and finish my 10 before the end 😭 #october #bookstagram #booksta #reading #readingwrapup by @veloriellereads
Wow this books is just. Wow. It’s funny how you can know how something ends and still the journey can be every bit as painful. My collection of maybe not quite favorite, but quotes from the book that left an impression in my mind. Worth noting they all hurt my heart in different ways ❤️‍🩹 Side note, you can tell the lighting on the last few pics worsens because that’s me being unable to put this book down at 3 am to finish it 😭😭 #sunriseonthereaping #booksta #bookstagram #read #bookish by @veloriellereads
🩵Icebreaker🩵 final thoughts! Ah I’m definitely going to go back to read the spin offs 🤪 I guess I’m open to sporty romance recs if anyone’s got some? Incoming next: all of my Sunrise On The Reaping thoughts and emotions. Guys, heavy on the emotions. 😩😭 #icebreaker #readersofinstagram #booksta #hockeyromance #bookreviews by @veloriellereads
💕My 10 Before the End💕 which one would you be most excited for?? I think I have a really good mix of books and I really hope I make all ten because it’ll get me to reach my 24 book goal!! Which if I do, on to the next goal of 36 books in a year! Ah, so excited for all of these! 1. Yesteryear - so excited to read this one and see if it lives up to the hype. Also I can’t see an ending that makes sense so I’m even more excited? 2. Katabasis - I LOVE R.F. Kuang’s writing so I’m excited for this one 3. Haunting of Hill House - I cried my way through the series so I can’t wait to read the book 4. Moonlight Murder - second book in such a fun series, if you have an aunty in your life you’ll enjoy it 5. God of Malice - I’m nosy and want to know what the Rina Kent hype is about 6. Remarkably Bright Creatures - it looks whole and I’m a sucker for animal friendship books 7. Quicksilver - if there’s a show or movie being made I want to read it first 8. Lights Out - there’s a show being show AND I’ve heard really great things about this, might audiobook it! 9. The Calamity Club - also heard amazing things about this one 10. The Knave and the Moon - absolutely loved book 1 so this is a must read for me! #10beforetheend #books #bookish #bookstagram #readersgonnaread by @veloriellereads
What are your go to’s when you’re sick??? 🤧 I meant to make this post a while ago BUT my favorite thing to do when sick is to read! I’ll read anything from something fun to suspense. This last time I ended up rereading the Vegetarian which I’m glad to report is still just as incredibly written and full of meaning with each page! I like to think I lightened up my mood with Beach Read 😌💕 #books #emilyhenry #bookstagram #booksta #reading by @veloriellereads
🩵Icebreaker🩵 So much to love about this book, but here are some of my faves!! I’m sorry to say sporty romance finally dug its claws into me 😭🩵 #icebreaker #hockeyromancebooks #bookstagram #book #readersgonnaread by @veloriellereads
Because WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT ALMOST WASNT HIM?!?! 😭😭 I’m gutted by chapter 2, I don’t even know how I’m going to survive the rest of this book. Genuinely, somebody sedate me because this is going to be a ride. I can always trust @suzanne.author to write something that is equal parts political commentary and equal parts take my heart and crush it under your boot. The Hunger Games should simply be required reading at this point. #sunriseonthereaping #bookish #hungergames #bookstagram #books by @veloriellereads
The Icebreaker vibes so far 💙🩵❄️ Almost done with it and I’m so sad it’s almost over 😭😭 #icebreaker #hockeyromancebooks #bookstagram #book #octoberreads by @veloriellereads
I didn’t believe in it but it’s actually such a fun book. I loveeee Nate but Henry has my heart 😭😭❤️ #icebreaker #readmore #bookish #bookstagram #reading by @veloriellereads
My thoughts on The Bewitching! Honestly, loved this book and I’m going to have to pick up more of @silviamg.author books. Some people weren’t a fan of the pacing in the beginning, but I felt like it gave it a more haunting vibe the way we’re introduced into the story and there were definitely parts where I was more creeped out that I thought I would’ve ever been! Overall a solid 4/5, it was such a spooky read, perfect for October 💚🐍🔮 #bookstagram #silviamorenogarcia #books #bookreviews #reading by @veloriellereads
