I’m allowed to take up space and still be a work in progress. by @velvet__journeys

Your mind can turn one unanswered message into a hundred different fears. 🤎

Before you believe the story your mind is telling you, ask yourself: Is this a fact, or is it a fear?

Not every thought deserves your belief. Sometimes, you need to separate what you know from what you’re afraid might be true. 🧠✨

Sometimes, the first step to managing anxiety is getting the thoughts out of your head and onto paper. 🤎📝

That’s why I’m starting a new series: Late-Night Thoughts to Rewire the Brain 🌙

We’ll explore the thoughts that keep us overthinking, why our minds get stuck in certain patterns, and how we can start looking at things differently, one thought at a time.

No toxic positivity. No pretending everything is fine. Just small steps toward a healthier relationship with your mind.

Follow along. Our first thought is coming soon. 🤎

I used to think I needed to figure everything out to finally feel at peace.

Every conversation. Every possibility. Every little thing that could go wrong.

But sometimes, the way we try to protect ourselves is the very thing keeping us stuck.

I’m learning that peace doesn’t come from controlling everything. It comes from learning to trust myself, even when life feels uncertain.

Which slide felt a little too personal? 🤍
