Exploring and rediscovering myself as a creator and an artist has been a wild ride. People have been nasty and have put me down. They have spoken terribly about me behind my back and I have learned the person that I am throughout this past year.

I learned that I wish I cared more. I am proud of the person and artist that I have become. My brain does this incredible thing where it makes use of the tiny details and nuanced niche things I’ve hoarded and comes up with ideas and solutions that only I can. To that: I’m proud.

Ren faire this year was my first pushing of that. But it’s definitely not my last. I have so much more to share with all of you on my journey of creating. I’ve never been exclusively cosplay but I have been exclusively creating art so stay tuned for more art.

I got the chance to sit down and watch all of ONE show this year during all of Faire season. It was @tinygirlbigshow

It was truly a delight to hang out and get to relax and just enjoy something fun, whimsical and happy. It was worth my Diet Coke getting hot in the sun to see this show in its entirety.

I also got all of ONE photo with anyone that wasn’t a quick backstage selfie or taken while I was working and it was this one!

Thank you to @eccothebard @mornyngknight for taking the time to talk with me for all of 30 seconds before I went to work the joust! I had a blast and you were LOVELY!

I’d like to take the time to welcome myself back to social media. It’s been waaaaay too long but I’m back and I’m here to stay.

I’ve never been one for fake personas on social media and I’ve always make sure to speak my mind. I’ve been quiet but not for the reasons that people think…it was actually because of my last job.

After losing my job super early in 2025 I decided to find myself again. I needed to discover the person who was creating cosplays at lightning speed and had the motivation to do it. I wanted to find the person who earned the artistic skill that I’m blessed with and have lunch with her. I wanted to remember who I am and where I came from.

This is going to shock you: but she’s back. She’s here. She’s ready to throw down. She’s down to clown.

“Yes, I’m a gatekeeper and a hater. I’m also God’s favorite princess and the most interesting girl in the world.”

I hope @jenniferjenglish sees this and knows what an impact this character and performance made on me. So much so I made it into a figure skating program.

Thank Selûne for a clean skate for sectionals. With a new personal best and a high enough score to place me 14th out of 43 skaters in the country, 5th in my region and 3rd in my group, I’m PROUD of how this all went. My heart and soul went into this skate and I’m so happy that I was able to pull it off when it mattered.

Here’s to a good season and a program that brings me joy.

Side note: I’m actually telling @spidey_abs that I’m going to crush it because I’m God’s favorite Princess.

@jenniferjenglish gave an incredible performance to this incredible character. She honestly means the world to me and I’m so honored to have this incredible FS from sectionals.

I medaled in every event I signed up for this year after moving up a level for skating. The move up in skill was hard but rewarding with this amazing skate under my belt I can’t wait to share more!

This is the last one…I swear! I need to do something cosplay related with skating. I really haven’t been able to because skating and crazy clothing are kind of unsafe to skate in. Also, dropping things in the ice is MEGA DANGEROUS! So whatever I make I need to be SUPER CAREFUL with it.

Overall, this has been a wild ride. I can’t wait to continue my skate journey and see where it decides to lead me next. Also, if you’re ever in the Seattle area let me know! We can go skate together and if you wear size 8.0-8.5 shoes, you’ll fit in my old skates!!

This program was difficult. It felt like I was just chasing the next element that I needed and then before I knew it I was finished. I had next to no thoughts while I was skating and I came off the ice crying and shaking. I knew that this was the best I could currently do and I couldn’t do any better.

Hitting every element and every moment and skating confidently was really hard. But I think I was able to prove to myself that I have a lot more composure under pressure than I first thought.

I started my figure skating journey back in January of 2021. I had no idea what it would have in store for me, if I would like it or even if I would be any good. As it turns out, 2021 was a year of a lot of pain and heartbreak. It was a year that tried and tested me. I broke down a lot and had some bad relationships with every day tasks. I was over worked, under paid and passing out in public due to my lack of sleep and inability to eat regularly because of my job. Despite all fo that, I felt happy when I was skating with my best friend.

My entire life was falling apart but I had two things that made me happy. Skating and knowing that @spidey_abs was on the ice with me. After quitting my job, I pretty much left social media. It was hard to find myself wanting to come back. After getting my new job, I didn’t have a place to post about it. I’m working with children that aren’t mine. I can’t just post about them. They aren’t old enough to consent. HOWEVER, they are really cute and I love them.

This program is my heart and soul. This is the best that I could do with the almost two years of training I’ve put myself through. This is what I was able to do with all of the time and energy and feeling that I have woken up early and gone to bed late for.

Welcome back to me posting once a year I guess? Life is always hectic now. Chasing two children that aren’t mine and working on new things constantly. I’ve made and lost friends, learned a lot about myself and learned a lot of new skills. I turned 30 and even flew home for my birthday. Things go up and down but I’m just chugging along…hopefully posting the new stuff I’ve created.
