We’ve been doing it for years, now it’s official 🎉

Verbier Green isn’t just a waste company. We’re a logistics company too. Moves, clear-outs, transport, the lot; always has been part of what we do, now it’s part of who we are.

Same mission though: nothing wasted, everything sorted, nothing left to chance.

Need something moved, cleared or sorted?

Four venues. One season. And 0 guessing. Here’s the stats.📊

Farinet, Shed, Goomah and Bar 8 signed up to our new tracking system a whole year before we made it mandatory for all commercials : logged bin by bin, we tracked glass, cardboard, PET, aluminium and mixed waste, across all their pickups this past year.

That’s the real value of tracking: it turns “we recycle” into something you can actually show, something tangible. A clear record for your own sustainability claims, a way to catch what’s going wrong before it becomes a habit, and proof: for guests, for investors, for yourselves - that the system works.

Between the four of these businesses, we collected: 37’995 KG of glass, 18’909 KG of cardboard and paper, 323 KG of PET, 609 KG of aluminium, and 19,316 kg of mixed waste. Over 57’000 KG, accounted for instead of estimated: enough to fill more than 1,700 standard recycling bins, at a combined weight of roughly 13 African elephants. That’s 57 TONNES that never ended up in general waste.

That’s accountability you can point to.

Thank you, @farinet_verbier, @shed.burgers, @shed.goomah and @no8verbier for showing the way ♻️ 👊🏻

Small systems. Big difference.

October is when the valley’s hospitality businesses get ready for the season, and it’s also when we get the unglamorous stuff sorted before it has the chance to become a problem.

A labelled bin station, so nobody’s guessing what goes where. A collection day that doesn’t move, so nobody’s chasing it. One point of contact, for whatever the system doesn’t cover.

Colour-coded, bilingual: English and French. It’s a small detail. It’s also exactly the kind of detail that keeps a season running smoothly instead of chaotically.

Are you a Chalet or hospitality business in the valley that needs help with waste sorting?

Autumn’s slowly rolling into Val de Bagnes 🍂

The terraces are packing away, the chalets are emptying out, and the village is quietly getting ready for what’s next.

For us, this is the in-between season, clearing out what summer left behind, sorting what can be reused, and getting everything sorted before the snow arrives.

Winter’s not far off. We’re getting ready; are you?

Some have their theory about what the Verbier Green crew gets up to when the van’s not running. Here’s the real answer, for the record 🧐

On duty, Josh is managing, doing recycling runs and logistics across the valley. Off duty, early mornings, late evenings, and days off turn him into a”Strava-Wan Kenobi” same focus, considerably less bin-shaped.

Dean splits the same way. On duty, he’s behind the truck. Off duty, he’s “The Beat Collector” behind the decks, or just as often on the volunteer crew at a local festival.

Everyone’s got a hero life hiding somewhere under the hi-vis.

A huge thank you 💚

This summer, we had the honour of working alongside @kermessedeverbier , @verbierfestival and @verbierbikefestival handling the recycling and clean-up behind the scenes, and setting up on-site sorting systems so waste got separated and handled properly, right where it happened.

Three events, one summer, and a lot of bins in between.

Thank you to every organiser, and team who let us be part of it, we’re proud to have helped keep this summer’s celebrations running clean.

What’s actually in the van when we move you? 👇

Every pack job, chalet clear-out, delivery, full move, leaves with the same kit. Reused, not replaced.

1️⃣ Moving blankets: reusable, woven, our first choice whenever paper or plastic isn’t needed
2️⃣ Quilted blankets: protecting every loading area while we pack
3️⃣ Paper wrap: made from recycled paper, and recyclable again after, used ahead of plastic wherever we can
4️⃣ LPP plastic wrap: only when we really have to, and even then it’s compostable, so it skips the oil-based leftovers of normal wrap
5️⃣ Bubble wrap: saved and reused, job after job, until it’s genuinely done
6️⃣ Elastic straps: swapped in for tape wherever we can, used again and again

Same care for your belongings. Less thrown away after.

A few words from people who’ve had us round 🌱

We’re genuinely grateful when these reviews show up.

Pianos moved across the country, stressful house moves made easy, bins that just quietly disappear every week, small stuff to us.

Thank you to everyone who’s taken the time to write one.
If Verbier Green has ever made your life a little easier, we’d love to hear about it 🙌 by @verbiergreen

Verbier → Copenhagen. Around 1,500 km from point A to point B. 🇨🇭🚛🇩🇰

For this international move, we helped the client sort and organise what they wanted to keep, professionally protect and pack everything for safe transportation, and manage the remaining items through the most responsible recycling and disposal routes available.

What could take days to manage alone was completed in just over eight hours with our experienced team and the right system in place.

Moving is not only about transportation. It is about making the entire process feel organised, efficient, manageable and stress-free.

We’re going fishing 🎣 For our next teammate.

Verbier Green is hiring a full-timer for the winter, someone who wants real mountain days, not a desk. Logistics, recycling, moves, problem solving challenges, the physical stuff that actually keeps this place running. Hands-on, outdoors, no two days the same.

What you’ll need: a driving licence (non-negotiable), a bit of grit, and the kind of person who doesn’t mind getting stuck in.

Job details on request, send us a CV and a cover letter and we’ll take it from there.

Full-time. This winter.
Come work where you’d rather be 🌪️🌨️🌤️ by @verbiergreen

While Verbier was sleeping, we were already back at work. ♻️

Our job was simple: collect what was left after the celebrations, sort it carefully and help the village reset for the day ahead in the most sustainable way possible.

We’re proud to collaborate with an event that brings so much energy, tradition and community spirit to Verbier.

Thank you @kermessedeverbier 🫶🏼
