What to do during a bridal photoshoot at a hotel (if you don’t like posing) 📸🤪

The best wedding photos don’t happen when you’re trying to pose perfectly. They happen when you’re simply living the moment✨

During a bridal photoshoot at a hotel, you can just do simple, natural things — and those moments often turn into the most beautiful and authentic photos.

Here are a few ideas of what you can do after getting dressed:

☕ Have a coffee and enjoy a light breakfast
📖 Read a book or flip through a newspaper
🌆 Enjoy the city view from the window
🚶‍♀️ Walk down the hotel hallway
💎 Adjust your earrings or veil in the mirror
💐 Admire your bouquet
🎶 Turn on your favorite music in the room and dance a little
👀 Peek into the ballroom to see how the preparations are going
🍷 Have a glass of wine at the hotel bar
🛎 Ride on the hotel luggage cart (it’s always fun)
🛏 Sit on the bed and take a quiet moment before the first look

The most important thing: don’t try to perform for the camera. Just be present. When you do, the photos become natural, emotional, and truly yours 💍

Always happy to guide you and support during our photoshoot! 🩷

Sometimes people ask why I deliver more photos than my wedding packages include.

The truth is… when I’m going through your gallery, some moments simply don’t deserve to be left behind.

A quiet glance from your mom while you’re saying your vows.

Your grandparents laughing together.

A hug that lasted only a second.

The way your best friend looked at you when you weren’t even paying attention.

These aren’t just “extra photos.”

They’re pieces of your story.

So yes, more often than not, my couples receive more images than promised.

Because I don’t believe memories should ever be limited by a number.

📸Forget the cliché poses and forced smiles - love isn’t staged, and your photos shouldn’t be either. My couples don’t ‘stand and smile’; they run, they laugh, they steal kisses when they think no one’s watching.

I don’t do ‘standard’ - that’s banned in my world. Every love story is wild, raw, and beautifully unpredictable. If you’re ready for a shoot that feels like you - live and unforgettable - let’s create something magic✨

Choosing the perfect spot for your first look🤗

This moment is intimate, emotional, and one of the most memorable parts of your wedding day — so the location really matters.

Here are a few key things to consider:

1️⃣ Keep it close to your ceremony location
Delays happen (they always do 🙈), so choosing a nearby spot helps you stay relaxed and arrive on time without stress.

2️⃣ Make sure the space is open and spacious
Photographers capture this moment from multiple angles, so having enough room allows us to document both of your reactions beautifully — not just one side.

3️⃣ Match the aesthetic to your wedding vibe
Whether it’s a garden, classic hotel interior, or modern architecture — your first look location should feel cohesive with the overall style of your day.

4️⃣ Look for soft, flattering light
Natural light is everything. Open shade, soft sunlight, or a bright indoor space with large windows will give you that dreamy, glowing look.

5️⃣ Choose a private or quiet area
The more intimate the setting feels, the more genuine your emotions will be. Fewer distractions = a more meaningful moment.

A well-chosen spot doesn’t just look beautiful — it helps you feel present, calm, and fully in the moment 💫
