UPDATE! Court Support Rescheduled for Monday the 14th!
Join Families of Hisham Awartani, Kinnan Abdalhamid, & Tahseen Ali Ahmad!

⏰Monday, September 14, 8:30am
📍Vermont Superior Court
32 Cherry Street, Burlington

At the request of Hisham, Kinnan, Tahseen, and their families, we are rescheduling our court solidarity for Monday the 14th at 8:30am. They want us there to support Hisham, Kinnan, and Tahseen when they testify. We encourage Palestine solidarity activists to join VCPL in court support for them and their families. Please wear kufiyahs. We will bear silent witness at the trial. Our presence alone will highlight the demand for justice for these three Palestinians and Palestine. by @vermontcpl

Thank you to the 22 candidates who answered YES to all questions in the VCPL Survey.

These candidates understand that Palestine IS a local issue.

Keep reading to see who answered YES and challenge all candidates on the questions asked.

After the primary election, no matter who wins, we will make sure to hold candidates to their word of keeping Palestine on the agenda!

The people are with Palestine and the job of politicians is to serve THE PEOPLE!!

Since the start of 2026, ICE and Border Patrol have shot at least 20 people. Last week, agents shot and killed Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Houston. On Monday, agents killed Joan Sebastián Durán Guerrero in Biddeford, Maine, as his 3-year-old daughter watched.

The latest ICE killings reveal the violence and brutality inherent in the machinery of mass deportation. ICE and Border Patrol are working exactly as intended: brutalizing people, terrorizing communities, and separating families. This violence is at work in Vermont, where nearly 150 people have been detained since the start of the Trump administration, including five in the past week.

On Thursday in Vermont, immigrants and allies will rally to say “¡Ya basta!” No more killings; not one more deportation; ICE out! We will join together to honor the dead and fight for the living. by @vermontcpl

Let us take a united stand on July 15 to free all Palestinian hostages, starting with healthcare workers.

This Wednesday, join the rolling global action organized by Doctors Against Genocide: wherever you are, take one hour at noon your local time to call, write, post and gather to demand the release of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya and other healthcare workers detained by Israel.
