From Abstract the Mundane to composition. Stains resolving into loose structures #graphicdesign by @verrworld
found 🌱 playing around with some fragments collected during a morning walk #graphicdesign by @verrworld
Mind Game 🫯 Saw this one pretty recently and it was just so chaotic and entertaining. Second to last in the movie poster series. Tried to capture the constant shift in style and energy through heavy saturation and distortion. by @verrworld
ABSTRACT THE MUNDANE 🟧 An archival of material experiments using everyday objects as tools for image-making. Photographed fragments of surfaces and items are reprocessed digitally until their context almost dissolves. The extracted visuals feel more present within the usual flow of stock imagery. Stains originally made for a @design.syndrome dojo assignment. #graphicdesign #digitalarchive by @verrworld
There Will Be Blood ⛪ Third poster in the movie series, always loved the original artwork for this one. Kept my version austere and limited in color: a hand reaches into the land, longing to claim it. The cross looms above, inevitably pulled by the same desire. by @verrworld
Gone to earth 🌀 Little typography experiment in a simple soft layout; have been replaying this track by The American Analog Set and, for some reason, sandy spirals came to mind. Og photo credit (bottom right): @sophiepinet #graphicdesign by @verrworld
Parasite 🪨 Second poster in the series and my other original submission for the #designdojo. This film remains one of my favorites in Korean cinema. I decided to focus on the unease, both internal and external, felt throughout the story by the characters and the viewer. by @verrworld
Quick study inspired by @braulioamado and his amazing work for Good Room 🌟 I've always had the habit of collecting photos of strange textures and objects I find around town, and I've been wanting to incorporate these real-life assets into my design work. For this piece, I pulled out the shapes and flattened the composition, reassembling them into the main artifact. by @verrworld
Princess Mononoke 🐗 Poster for the 25th #designdojo brief by @design.syndrome, exploring how a film communicates emotionally rather than narratively. For this piece I focused on nature as an overwhelming moral and physical force, leaving violence implied through scale. First of a small series working around this premise by @verrworld
new resolutions 🐎 #yearofthehorse by @verrworld
finally putting my work out there graphics, designs, experiments and all that is between welcome to verrworld by @verrworld
