Wolf & Wildflower Wednesday. 🪻🐺

Every week we'll pair two words that don’t seem to belong together, something from the wolf realm and something from the garden, then watch what grows between them.

And when we say wolf realm, think beyond fang, claw, howl, and bone. The wolf word may come from anything wild, instinctual, spiritual, ancestral, or liminal.

This week’s pairing:
HEATHER + HAUNT
Use both words somewhere in your piece.
Poetry. Prose. Haiku. One line. Free write. You choose.

The only rule? Both words must appear.

HEATHER 🪻 The soft & wild bloom. Heather grows across wild moors, the very landscapes we associate with ghosts, wolves, old folklore, and lost lovers and obsessions.

HAUNT 👻 In the wilderness, a haunt is a place an animal returns to. In folklore, wolves haunt the border between the living and the spirit world, guarding what time cannot erase.

Together, you decide what they become.

💬 Leave your words in the comments below within 48 hrs to be considered for a feature.
🚩 In order to be fair to others, we will allot a 2-slide maximum for features. If your poem is too long, despite loving it, we may not be able to feature it.
🌙 If the moon convinces you to make your own post, tag us in the image or send it to our DM. We’d love to wander over and read it.
📖 Read a few others and leave some encouragement before you go! We’re a pack. Let's behave as one, with love, loyalty, and respect! 🐺 by @wolvesandwildflowerspoetry

🔮 October’s Rising | Week III: The Sacred and the Strange
Days 15–21 · Witchcraft, devotion, magic, and transformation

This week, we step into the spaces where the sacred meets the strange. Where intuition whispers, the unseen calls, and magic lives in the things we cannot always explain.

We explore the rituals that bring us home to ourselves, the devotion that makes us feel alive, the transformations that ask us to shed old skin, and the strange, beautiful ways we find meaning in the world around us.

Whether your magic lives in moonlight, whispered prayers, tarot cards, tangled roots, ancient traditions, or the quiet knowing in your bones, there is room here for you. Bring your wonder, your questions, and the parts of yourself the world has taught you to keep hidden. Let’s get a little witchy, a little reverent, and a little strange. 🖤🌙

A reminder about respect: Our paths, practices, beliefs, and experiences will not always look the same. We can honor our own truths without belittling someone else’s. Approach one another with curiosity, respect personal boundaries, and remember that difference is never an excuse for cruelty.

As always, hateful use of our prompts is unacceptable. Thank you for being here, for sharing your magic, and for helping us keep this a space where creativity and self-expression can exist without fear. 🔮🖤 by @wolvesandwildflowerspoetry

🌑 Devotion & Bloom · New Moon in Libra

For all the tenderness we have poured into the world, may there be rain for our own roots.

Under this moon, we invite you to write toward the love you are ready to receive, the longing waiting for a voice, and what might bloom when your devotion is returned.

Seed line:
I opened slowly, with winter still inside me.

And a bonus seed line:
What I wanted trembled beneath my tongue.

Use either liner both or follow your own inspiration. Entries are open for 72 hours. Share in the comments or your own post and tag us:

🪻Wild Blooms 🪻

Every week, this community reminds me why I love poetry.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, shared your words, and gave life to this week's prompt. Every poem planted something beautiful.

Today's featured Wild Blooms aren't "better" than anyone else. They're simply a few pieces that lingered with us, surprised us, or bloomed in unforgettable ways.

Please take a moment to celebrate them, leave them some love, and keep supporting one another. The comments you leave for another writer might be the reason they keep writing tomorrow.

Congratulations to this week's Wild Blooms.

My name is not yours to make a wound of. I know the vow I carry, and I will keep turning what hurt me into something that heals.

By my bone and flame, whatever was sent in spite burns clean.

And so it is. by @wolvesandwildflowerspoetry

Thank you so much to everyone who participated in Crow’s Curios this month. 🖤

We want you to know that every piece you shared is so dear to us. When choosing our finalists and honorable mentions, we’re looking for the writers who truly understand what the crow has offered us — the lessons, the darkness, the little treasures, the things hidden in plain sight — and it’s an absolute honor to watch those interpretations unfold through your words.

Congratulations to everyone, whether you see your name tagged here or not. Your work was seen. Your words mattered. Your creativity found its way into this space.

Thank you for creating with us, for trusting us with your words, and for making Crow’s Curios what it is.

Nox will return the first week of November. 🐦‍⬛

Until then, keep looking closely.
