2026 Lap The Valley run by @milepost.events wrapped up with a DNF on 16 laps for myself. New PB in this format. What a great event, huge shoutout to my crew who put up with my antics and drove me home post event @ali_gordo . @nicolejukes for spending hours in the heat and dust clouds, made the event a lot easier not having to talk to myself the whole time. @thebackyardbbqboys4680 for some great food between laps. Well down to the organisers and @thatadamsdad for a truely awesome event. Last but not least a shoutout to @rhysolle who took the last man standing title. Well done to everyone. Even had guest appearance from @tamtam_loves_to_run #running #ultrarunning #backyardultra #ultra #lapthevalleybyu @tarkineathletics @trail.brew @vert_nutrition_ @thetrail.co @t8.australia @2xu @creeperssocks @precisionfandh @backyardultrarunclub by @vert_nutrition_

This is the aftermath of the Melbourne Marathone AFTER THEY CLEANED UP!!!! One absolute legend Annabelle Bueman clean up almost 3kg of Gel Wrappers personally. Litterally hundreds of them. This is completely unacceptable. by @vert_nutrition_

A mockup of my new packaging; Vert is finally big enough for minimum packaging orders! by @vert_nutrition_

BIG SESSION. BIG SWEAT. SMART FUELLING. 🔥

1hr 50min of solid work this morning — treadmill, bike, sleds and wall balls and what a belter morning it was.💪

With around 3.5L sweat loss. This is why I don’t leave hydration and fuelling to chance.

🧂 @lemalt.co salts before the session.
⚡ @moorendurancefuelco + @vert_nutrition_ during the sweat session.

Supporting hydration, electrolyte replacement and energy intake so I can keep putting in the work. Without the support of these guys, it wouldn’t happen.

It’s not just about how hard you train. It’s about how well you fuel the effort.

Run Prix Half Marathon 🏃‍♂️💨

Up early with the wife Rachael, found the perfect park and got ourselves sorted before heading out for a warm-up run. The atmosphere was unreal — great crowds, plenty of energy and just one of those mornings where everything felt right.

Lined up, gun went at 7:40 and we were off. Started strong and managed to settle into one of my best paces, staying in sync with a mate and running lap for lap together.

Everything just clicked.apart from the super windy morning but managed to Hold the pace, stayed controlled and kept pushing all the way through.

Half marathon absolutely nailed. 💪🔥

Massive thanks to everyone who came out and brought the energy, and of course the biggest thanks to Rach for being there with me from the early morning start.

Id also like to thank tommy Nankervis from tinelli clothing Australia and drapac Capital group for all the on going support you guys rock.
And thanks to vert nutrition for keeping me fueld on this one. I definitely needed it!

Another one in the books. ❤️🏃‍♂️ by @vert_nutrition_

5 hour training backyard ultra format. Moving well. Tried some new foods. Race crew trained. #running #backyardultra #spring #run #onemorelap @tarkineathletics @vert_nutrition_ @trail.brew @salomonausnz by @vert_nutrition_

I used to personalise the scoops when Vert was small, and people loved it. As I got busier, I had to stop. Well, for orders placed from 3 p.m., scoops will be personalized! This took me probably two years to work out how to do. Possibly the hardest technical thing I've pulled off. by @vert_nutrition_

A customer asked for a longer handle on the scoop and if I could put a lip on the funnel. So I'm working on it. by @vert_nutrition_
