POSTS STORIES REELS

Before @tonicpolish Peacock Parade blew up the Western indie nail polish community, there was an old Aurelia polish called Storm Cloud and then, @dancelegendofficial Sulley. I remember putting it on my nails for the first time in 2013 and just staring at them all days, admiring all the colour shifts. Most people around me back then rarely noticed my manicures, but this one just couldn't stop attracting comments and compliments. The one I still remember to this day is "your nails look like LSD". I'll take that person's word for it 😄 Anyway, today I sat down before my makeup desk determined to pu on the gorgeous @sydneygraceco Megalodon on my eyes, but I wanted it to be something other than the typically monochromatic looks I've been going for recently. And so this cotton candy space drama was born, which matches Sulley quite closely. It's not perfect, but I'm pretty proud of myself. And, it's an all-indie eye look, too!

My account got wrongfully suspended by Instagram for over a month and I just got it back. In the meantime, I've been posting over at @clawsandshadows and that is where I will stay.

I am very happy to have access to this page back, as it contains records of my most longstanding hobby spanning more than nine years. I still love this page and this nickname (a lot), but I've made a fresh start and to be honest, it has felt very good.

I will be happy to see you over at my new page if you would like to stay in touch. If not, that's OK and I wish you all the best ❤️ by @vicerimus

The year was 2012 and I was getting into nail polish. Chanel came out with a makeup collection containing a nail polish that looked like the June bug. Too bold to pay the luxury price tag, I don't know if I'll dare to wear something like this, thought I, and got the Jessica dupe. Some 10 years have passed and Peridot (which I ended up getting recently, mostly for collector's purposes) is one of the more tame nail polishes in my collection that are not a solid color (cream or jelly). There is a subdued quality to it, the shift are not as mind blowing as the more modern multichromes, and it looks like most a grungy pastel. But it's pretty and also it becomes a lovely antique mustardy gold when direct light hits it. I thought it pairs well with Clionadh Weathered, which also is one of the more subdued multichromes in the Stained Glass.

Let's try this again since I can't find what's happened to my dispute over the copyright strike for using an audio out of Instagram's own library, it's not in my "account status" but the first version of this reel was still blocked pretty much worldwide.

I hate how this app is ruining itself trying to be that other app but you can't beat video for showing multichrome magic! (And this app apparently can't even be a copycat without shitting its pants in the process 🙄)

This makeup started off with me feeling bold and about to put blue all over the upper lid for an office day. I did my neutral frame and actually really liked the look of it by itself to the point I didn't want to add anything to it but I still wanted blue in that look. When in doubt, put it on the lower lash line! Love the end look!
