I love giving advice the way some people love cracking their knuckles: constantly, unprompted, and to the visible discomfort of everyone nearby. 😂 Ask me how to fix your love life, your sourdough, or your Wi-Fi. I know nothing about Wi-Fi , but I’ll say it with confidence. 💅 Now I’m curious: what’s the best advice anyone has ever given YOU? Drop it below 👇 (And if you need advice on something, ask away. I’m ready👇 . . . . #RelatableHumor #AskMeAnything #AdviceOfTheDay #fyp #viralreels by @vickerslilith
Somewhere along the way, a lot of us learned that showing interest first meant losing power. That waiting was safer than wanting. That being "chased" was proof of worth. But real connection isn’t about who blinks first. It’s okay to reach out first. To say what you feel before you know it’s safe to. To choose someone out loud instead of hoping they choose you first. Initiating isn’t losing your mystery, it’s having the security to be known. 💭 Have you ever held back from making the first move because of how it might look? What changed or hasn’t ? Be honest ~ how long is your dating checklist? 📝👀 6ft+, six-figure salary, loves dogs, vacations and brunch... Here’s the plot twist: those are preferences, not standards. ✨ A checklist can be 100% met and you can still feel unseen, anxious, or small. Meanwhile someone who checks zero boxes can make you feel completely at home. So let’s get real for a sec 👇 Preferences = decoration. Standards = the way someone makes you FEEL. 💛 Tell me below 👇 What’s one “must-have” you’ve let go of? And what’s the one non-negotiable you’ll never budge on? . . . #datingtips #relationshipadvice #DatingChecklist #KnowYourWorth #StandardsNotPreferences by @vickerslilith
