Celebrate EVERY win! And we WON AN EMMY!
@televisionacad

I met @samikhanfilm Pre-Pandemic as one of this students at Brooklyn College. He took us on a field trip to a Post Production Studio, where his Film @lastoutfilm was being mixed. Naturally, I took their business card and applied for a job.
Months later, I was part of the Team mixing the film.

The Film winning an EMMY is a full circle moment for me.

It’s out on Prime, YouTube and Apple TV. Or if you’re traveling on @delta you can watch it while you travel.

I went from humble Intern, to building 2 Studios in one of the most legendary Recording Studios in the world.
Here’s how:

Back in 2020, I was interning at Quad Studios, there was a flood in the main control room. I was one of the few people in the building that day, I sprung into action and shut off all electrical panels to the studio and got the fire dept to shut off the water.

Then the real work began: since I was an electrician in college, I knew how to solder & terminate wires. I offered up my skills to the owner of the studio and went on to fully renovate the studio. Since then, this studio has served many amazing artists including Busta Rhymes, Post Malone, John Legend, Ozuna and many more.

After that, I went on to design and build Q5 entirely by myself and led a small team to install the equipment.
Q1 is still active today and Q5 is under new management but still serves artists in NYC from all over the globe.

Nowadays I design major studios for top broadcast companies all over the world. And I still have time to make music on my own time. by @victor.kaplan__

I was personally invited to Kennedy Space Center for work. I got to see some top secret technology used by NASA. And I also met an astronaut (who spent 40 days in space).

Not bad a for a quick business trip. 🪐🚀🔭🛰️🛸 by @victor.kaplan__
