About halfway through Sep I got worried that I wouldn’t keep up with my reading goal because I wasn’t particularly excited to finish anything. Things took a turn in the last week because wdym I finished 2 books within 7 days 😮 My love for science fiction is back, how could it not be with lethal combination of Ender’s Game, the Hunger Games, and GOT in a series. Red Rising exceeded my expectations and I truly hope it doesn’t fall flat 🤞 #redrising #johngreen #melrobbins #loveisland #piercebrown Everything is Tuberculosis: 4.5/5 ⭐️ The Let Them Theory: 4/5 ⭐️ The Compound: 4.5/5 ⭐️ Red Rising: 5/5 ⭐️ by @victoria.a.ow

Theme of the month: Dysfunctional families and the lived experience being in one Its not all drab or sad, there’s joy as well, you just need to know where to look ☁️ The Death of Ivan Ilych: 4/5 ⭐️ I Know the Ants: 3.75/5 ⭐️ Bloody Awful in Different Ways: 4/5 ⭐️ by @victoria.a.ow
Nothing revolutionary, just some habits that work for me as someone who needs baseline stability within the flexible day-to-day im living I lowk still want a new phone cover so i’ll need to sleep on it again 😴 by @victoria.a.ow
Bali recommendations from someone who keeps going back (> 10 times so i think i know ball) ☀️ Left out my fav restaurant #MerahPutih but just know that’s sacred to me~ Not as fancy as your Atlas or Finns, which is precisely why I love it cos it overlooks the beach & is perfect for a chill day, be it solo or with a friend My first visit here was a solo one and I’ll keep coming back (: #solrooftop Finally a new beach club for me, also on the chill side, minimal daybeds so book in advance if ure planning to chill here. It also has more of a restaurant concept rather than it being a beach club. We got to catch a really beautiful sunset here ☀️ #manobeach #manobeachhouse No notes. Perfection. I haven’t gone to a different beach club in Uluwatu though I keep attempting to because my heart lays here ♥️ Book the VIP daybed and spend the day here, its 100% worth it #oneeightybali #beachclub #uluwatu Watch this restaurant become my new constant because how they cooked that pork loin & roast chicken needs to be treasured and passed down for generations 🙏🏼 Have yet to try the beef but u best believe ill be back to devour it #masonry #balirestaurant Chill cafe in Canggu, i was solo at this point and wanted smth sweet but i look forward to trying their fried chicken benedict next because it looked fire #nudecafe #seminyak Nice bakes, popular for a reason, had the garlic butter salt bread to go this time, super indulgent and delicious #breadyard #saltbread Tiny coffee joint, had a fun tropical mont blanc 🥥 #coffee #howimetcoffeebali We had a body scrub here after a full day of tanning + getting a full body massage and it was the best decision ever Felt like a salt bake chicken, and the smoothest ive ever been in my life after this, 10/10 would recommend getting this done right before you leave Bali #tonicmassageandbotanicals #bodyscrub Private room that comes with a shower?? Sold. Massage and facilities were great, worth the hype for me ✨ #sundari #sundariwellness #massage Beautiful facility, had a comfortable nap during my massage but my only critique is the centralised air conditioning, they couldn’t bring the temperature up because of it and th by @victoria.a.ow
Getting comfortable with the uncomfortable summarises the last 1-2 years very well, I crave stability but also yearn for new experiences. I worry my past decisions will haunt me, and my future ones will set me on the wrong path. But my best days are the ones where I just embraced that set moment for what it was, and sometimes that’s enough ☀️ Thankfully there are so many years ahead cos I can’t imagine having it all figured out rn by @victoria.a.ow

Knowing I read ‘Lost Lambs’ before Dua read lost lambs is my Regina George moment 🐑 Another great reading month, and we’re back in non-fiction territory thanks to John Green! . #lostlambs #strangepictures #anthropocene #johngreen #service95bookclub Lost Lambs: 5/5 ⭐️ Strange Pictures: 4/5 ⭐️ I want to Die but I want to eat Tteokbokki: 2/5 ⭐️ The Anthropocene Reviewed: Essays on a Human-Centered Planet: 4.5/5 ⭐️ by @victoria.a.ow
