This is what Rising As You Are is all about.

You don’t have to become someone else. You simply have to be willing to meet yourself where you are and rise from there.

Grateful for every man who said yes to the journey. 🙏🏾 by @vigilante_rising

Unlearning patriarchy starts with learning about it in the first place.

Educate, hold yourself accountable, and call men forward.

Before enlightenment, do the dishes.

After enlightenment, do the dishes.

Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is your chores.

One of my firmest-held beliefs is that the world should feel safer when you show up. You should use your strength to help others rise. You should always be a friend.

Helping others feel safe is one of the manliest things you can do. by @vigilante_rising

Can someone tell me wtf a gender role is?

Notice what needs to be done, and do it.

Put in effort. Go the extra mile. Live in surplus.

We sell sex and desire everywhere and then shame people for having expressing it.

Sex sells clothes, cars, music, jeans, lipstick, you name it... Then we turn around and condemn people, especially women, for expressing their sexuality.

Let me be very clear. That does not make you a whore.

Consent must be freely given and ongoing.. And if she says no, changes her mind, or wants to stop, you stop.

This shouldn’t be that hard to understand. by @vigilante_rising

There’s something powerful about people who welcome you and let you be fully yourself.

After a hell of a career, Lane’s impact will continue to be felt far beyond the field.

Caller after caller has talked about @lanejohnson65 giving them permission to work on their mental health. Caller after caller has thanked Lane for saying the things out loud, and for allowing them to also admit they’re struggling.

Lane changed the narrative.

There are men who have spent their entire lives watching sports, being a “man” and believing that being strong means staying silent. Then they saw someone like Lane, and him telling his truth gave permission for others to tell theirs.

You can be tough and struggle. You can be successful and need support. You can be someone others depend on and still need someone to lean on.

Shout out to lane Johnson, for being the toughest dude on the field, and for using his strength to shower others it’s okay to be vulnerable and ask for help.

One of the best to ever do it. Thank you Lane. by @vigilante_rising

When we elected him as president we told millions of boys that it’s okay to do what he did. That you can disrespect women in the way he did and still rise to the highest office in the country.

You can’t spend years excusing and dismissing terrible behaviors and then act bewildered when men continue on with actions that they’ve learned to be acceptable.

We need to do better as fathers and as men and call out atrocious behavior at all levels.

What were they supposed to learn about consent when powerful men laugh about violating it? What were they supposed to learn about accountability when the response was an excuse?

When the literal president of the United States was found liable by a jury for the SA. by @vigilante_rising
