Visited the farm, went apple picking, rewatched all the Twilight movies. Can say October was well spent! 🍎

Now I’m so ready for Christmas decorations and music 🎄😁

First time in Cambridge and I absolutely adored the city and its vibes❤️ Beautiful, historic and dreamy - and perfect for a fall trip 🍂

Below is a little guide to spending a day in the city 🇬🇧

📍 Fitzbillies - popular spot to start your morning and try their famous Chelsea buns.

⏰ Corpus Clock & Newton’s Apple Tree - two little stops just around the corner worth checking out.

🚣 Punting on the River Cam - one of the best and most fun ways to see Cambridge! Enjoy the views of the Mathematical Bridge, the Bridge of Sighs and the college grounds along the river.

🏛️ King’s College Chapel - beautiful architecture and history (tickets required).

🥪 Bread & Meat - lunch stop for 10/10 sandwiches (still thinking about them 😂)

🚶‍♀️ Explore the streets of Cambridge - the best part is simply wandering around and admiring the beautiful old buildings.

☕ Bould Brothers Coffee - a coffee stop definitely worth making.

🏛️ Downing College - another beautiful college to explore for free if you have time.

Side quest of the weekend in Toronto: being chased through a haunted castle 👻🏰

We visited Casa Loma’s @casalomatoronto Legends of Horror for opening night, and let’s just say… screaming together, laughing and questioning all our life choices made for a pretty memorable date night 😂

It’s a 2-km horror trail through the castle and grounds, packed with creepy sets, dark tunnels, characters and plenty of surprises. And just when you think you need a break… there’s a bar halfway through the trail where you can grab a drink and find the courage to keep going 😂🍸

Day 2 in London was packed, as we wanted to see a lot but didn’t have enough time for all of it. Still, we somehow managed to fit in almost everything we planned 😂🇬🇧

So this one is again for my people who love to explore and walk a lot 😂 (that’s basically all my itineraries - I can’t just chill when I’m in a new city)

📍 Tower Bridge (and Tower of London)
📍 Borough Market
📍 Tate Modern
📍 Millennium Bridge
📍St Paul’s Cathedral
📍 British Museum
📍 Daunt Books
📍 Marylebone

London was my first trip abroad many years ago, and it’s still one of my favourite cities in the world ❤️🇬🇧

So here’s my day 1 London itinerary if you want to see a lot!
Fair warning: this one is for my walking lovers 😂 Expect 20-25K steps, but if you have the time and energy, I’d absolutely go for it. London is one of those cities that needs to be experienced on foot.

Day 1 looked like this:

📍 Covent Garden (Neal’s Yard, Seven Dials & shopping)
📍 Big Ben & Parliament
📍 Westminster Abbey
📍 Buckingham Palace
📍 St James’s Park & Green Park
📍 National Gallery
📍 Fortnum & Mason for some tea ☕️
📍 Oxford Street & Regent Street
📍 Chinatown
📍 Leicester Square
📍 Piccadilly Circus

Toronto in the summer and early fall is literally the best city in the world❤️
Sometimes I forget to appreciate all the cool things and places we have right here. So, here’s to being a tourist in our own city and seeing things from a new perspective✨

Good to be back to the routine after the trip❤️
The perfect Saturday: getting a haircut, having lunch at my favourite sushi place @haysushi_ , and finishing it off with Uncle Tetsu and a walk around the area.
