@luca_fotografie_brussel by @vincent_dankaerts
Photos from my series, 'Everlasting' 'Everlasting' explores the desire to be eternally young and presents a world where time has no grip. It is a world in which we can be carefree. It is an invitation to reflect on the power of youthful optimism. The images are a tribute to that special period in life when everything still seems possible, when worries and discontent are far away and when we are full of opportunities.
Otto and Amelie • • • I took a photograph of my friend Otto with his pig. A year later, I gave him a framed darkroom print for his birthday. Photographed with my 8x10 inch camera in Glabbeek, Belgium August 2025 by @vincent_dankaerts

VINCENT DANKAERTS 2003, Belgium @vincent_dankaerts Vincent Dankaerts (2003) is an image maker who works from a deep fascination with an analog photographic practice. The analog process is essential in his work. By photographing on negative and often with large format cameras, he forces himself to look differently and more consciously at what surrounds him. Although his images arise from coincidental encounters and spontaneous fascinations, the aspect of ‘time’ is very important in his work. The time between the moment of encounter, the capture, the development and the final image is an integral part of his visual language. He is driven by curiosity and wonder in a world full of inspiring people. What unites Vincent Dankaerts' photographs is the constant urge to capture and preserve every moment as a reminder of what has taken place. His photographs invite the viewer to become part of the lived world of a young photographer. by @vincent_dankaerts

Barely there, but still here • • • There’s a lot happening in this image. There’s too much to see in just one glance. The longer you look, the more you will discover. So please take your time… I opened my lens just long enough to blur the rush and to catch the silence that lingers in between. This image is made with my 8x10 inch camera and is part of my master’s project, ‘As Evidence’ (2025)
BIG thanks to @_boyav for your help! 🙌🏻 by @vincent_dankaerts
One roll of 120 film and a cup of coffee Darkroom experiment on fiber based paper (17,2 x 12,6 cm) • • • I went to see Jan. We had a cup of coffee and I tested my new roll film holder on my 4x5 inch camera. What you see is an experiment made in the darkroom. Each negative of the entire 120 mm roll is printed individually for the same amount of time. Some images are too dark, some are too light. I like the idea of showing the whole negative as a process. #darkroomprint #120film #4x5 by @vincent_dankaerts
Fortunately stuck between two tides RA4 print, (21x29 cm) of an image I took this summer (2024) on an island in front of the coast of Brittany France. • • • Because of the strong tides, I got stuck for about 6 hours until the tide receded. Fortunately, I had my camera with me. I was able to take pictures all the time. I wasn’t bored for a second. I will never forget this unique experience. #filmphotography #darkroomprint #mamiyarz67 by @vincent_dankaerts
A dead deer lies partially concealed beneath a tarp and wooden pallet • • • What we see is a sad scene. The deer lost the battle to another deer. During mating season, they fight to show the females who is the strongest They want to prove who the best partner is. This one lost the survival of the fittest. Photographed with my 4x5 inch camera in Gedinne, Belgium - 2024 by @vincent_dankaerts
