Five mindset shifts that changed the way I approach nutrition and wellness. 🌿

My passion for health has deepened my understanding of what it means to care for the body God has entrusted to me. I’ve learned to approach nutrition with more intention, explore a greater variety of nourishing foods, and focus on habits that support my long-term well-being.

For me, wellness isn’t about striving for perfection. It’s about stewardship, consistency, balance, and gratitude for the opportunity to care for the body that hosts the Holy Spirit.

Just continuing to learn, grow, and make more intentional choices, one day at a time. 🤍

Which of these mindset shifts resonates with you most?

God’s plan > My plan

#godsplan #christianreels #motivation by @virginia.smith03

Eating healthy doesn’t have to be boring.
It just take’s whole food, natural ingredients, and great flavor.

My wellness journey has taken years of reflection and intentionality to learn what things works for my body. Substituting natural cravings for healthier options until my desires shift to what’s essentially better for me. It starts in the mind, continues with action, and carries on with self discipline.

This may not be what life looks like everyday but your continual habits make a big difference. Balance is a big key in getting a well rounded array of the nutrients your body needs to sustain energy, immunity, strength and begin thriving.

Enjoy your life, & enjoy food but let your habits outweigh momentary pleasure.

“Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.” ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The first time I visited Mackinac Isalnd was on a solo trip for my birthday in 2024. Greatful to have made it back here with family. Celebrating another year of wonderful life for my mom.💗
