Low tide beauty…
I love low tide and all the wonders it uncovers. I also love seeing how much different the landscape looks at low and high tides!
I grew up near the sea, with no tides, so I can never get enough of this!

Do you have any tide stories to share?

Some of my favorite beach sunset photos 🌅

If you like these, they are for sale in my Etsy shop, VirginiesNature (link in bio) 💕

Most sunsets are awesome to begin with, but sunsets at the beach hold a special place in my heart 😍

Where is your favorite sunset spot?

Aren’t ground squirrels just adorable ?
Their tiny paws, curious eyes, and playful antics make them some of the cutest little critters!

For the story: I was walking on a tree trunk to cross a shallow river and the squirrel in the first photo, which I hadn’t noticed at first, was apparently just staring at me 😊 Such a cutie! 🥰

Have you ever seen ground squirrels up close?

My most favorite hikes are the ones combining forest and beach 💚💙 (preferably with no people in either). Bonus for swimming!

Throwback to the perfect hike last weekend 😁

Do you have a favorite type of hike or place to hike?

A peaceful walk in the forest 🌳

I love walking in the forest and being surrounded by this world of green hues while listening to the joyful chirp of birds. It always clears my head and truly makes me feel calmer and happier! Every step feels like a gentle reminder of the beauty and tranquility that the natural world offers. 💚

For me, one of the best ways to start a new day is with a sunrise over water! 🌅 Who agrees?
