POSTS STORIES REELS

Hey y'all, 3 of my friends urgently need help, we are kind of on a time crunch with this as they need the funds for their move in October. Please please help if you can and also share this! The link will be in my instagram bio! Here is the gofundme text:

Annika, Dev, and Willow are urgently raising funds in order to move out at the beginning of October. Last month, Annika’s grandmother sadly passed away. Even though she had renewed the lease for several months in advance, as her grandmother’s live-in caretaker, Annika was informed that she would need to move in October, essentially being kicked out of her living place.

When the three were finally able to find an apartment, they were informed they would need to pay a security deposit and first month’s rent all together, which is out of their price range. Their new landlord is holding them responsible for paying $2000 upfront, which is what we are seeking to raise to help them move into the new place.

Some details of circumstance are too personal to share publicly, but what I can tell you is that Annika, Dev, and Willow all urgently need a place to stay and are relying on this new apartment to be able to continue to survive and live well. These three contribute greatly to our community, and above all else, are lovely people and wonderful friends who deserve our help. Please donate if you can!!!

Hey y'all, I am organizing a fundraiser for Hades to help her escape housing instability. It would really mean the world to us if you would read about whats going on and donate at the link in my bio. Here's the text from the gofundme post:

For years now, my dear friend Hades has been struggling on and off with housing instability. You may know her as the provocative and captivating Dante Dammit, but behind a powerful stage presence is a real person who needs her community’s help right now. Luckily, Hades was recently able to find an apartment; but unfortunately, she has also been struggling with unemployment and is now worried about being able to keep her new place.

Hades has poured an incredible amount of passion, care, and support into this community, not just as an artist and creative, but as a person and a friend. I really feel that it is our duty to support each other amidst these kinds of struggles and for us to show up for Hades the way she always does for us. Nobody deserves to live on the street, I desperately don’t want that struggle to befall Hades who has become like a little sister to me. I hope you all can also understand the urgency of how dangerous it can be to be homeless, especially as a trans person of color, and especially in these times.

I’m setting our initial goal at $5000 to account for at least a few months of rent, bills, food, etc. The cost of living is very high and we do not know how long it will take Hades to find more stable employment as the job market is obviously fucking awful right now. Please consider donating anything you can, everything helps.

Someone recently told me that these days a community is really just a group of loosely connected friend groups. This is true…..but I think we owe it to each other to be more than that. When the flames of fascism rise higher, the people come together to put out fires. None of us can do this alone. by @visceraspit

FATAL ERROR - ICIRR FUNDRAISER - TONIGHT AT NEW ROSE

It has been 25 years since the deadliest terrorist attack in history. 25 years since the start of the U.S.-led War on Terror which, according to the Cost of War Project, has resulted in the displacement of over 38 million people, and the deaths of over 4 million.

To commemorate, FATAL ERROR and @phantasmagoria.chi are raising funds for the Illinois Center for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR).

4 gogo dancers are supporting our fundraiser this evening: TAYIAHXX, VISCERA SPIT, NOCTURNAL, and SIHAYA SCARLET.

About the dancers:

TayiaHxx 🩸

Hello my babies! Im tayye and I'm an avid collecter of all odd things and people. I've danced at numerous venues and events throughtout northwest Indiana, and I'm excited to bring out my pleasers for all my lovelies here in chicago! Some of my favorite acts are ministry and visage ( please leave the dance floor when land of rape and honey comes on) and aurat is quickly becoming a constant on my playlist. I cannot wait to see you all out on the floor!

She has performed & co-hosted for multiple Djs in Chicago; creating safe spaces for your body to move in! 📸 @henselwl

Sihaya Scarlet 🥀

I’m a multidisciplinary artist & dancer whose world blends movement, color, and sound. I’m also in the Chicago body beat duo called X&Stacy (@xandstacy )!❤️🖤 My dances consist of sharp curves and geometric moves. Some footage of the fireworks on saturday courtesy of @candlesayshi 🖤 This was completely unplanned and so serendipitous. It felt like the world was congratulating us for the pay off of all our hard work. This moment captured a spiritual magic that feels so surreal even days later. Love you all so much, see ya sunday 🖤🥀 by @visceraspit
