The Appalachian Trail

I am slowly building a relationship with this place, this winding path of inward and outward exploration.

It’s beautiful ecosystem evolves and moves and breathes and knows very well who is entering.

Humbling and enriching in every way, this trip brought me great insight and inspiration.

It allowed me to reconnect with the rhythm of nature and the rhythm of my spirit and be deeply reminded of this sacred existence we live.

To be one with nature is to be one with GOD. To be one with ourselves.

I am so Grateful to exist on this planet with all of the people who are all here as deep reflections for my growth and vice versa.

Nature has a way of teaching us exactly where we are stuck. Its very existence does not waiver for the ego, there are so many messages in plain sight.

Slowing down, breathing, experiencing what’s right in front of me, presence. This requires no technology.

Coming back has shown me a deep contrast between what nature is teaching us and what technology and modern ideals are distracting us from.

I hope to see this world reconnect with nature.

I sure intend to, it’s who I am. It’s who you are.

I’ve completed the first section over two trips with two good friends.
Georgia ->North Carolina.
Backpacking and trekking for over 100 miles.
Living off water from natural mountain springs, carrying our gear on our back, blisters, burns, snakes, bears, and boars. Beautiful views, great conversations, and deep realizations. I have deep reverence for the Appalachian Trail after this trek and I look forward to future trips. I also thank my trail friends for all they have taught me along the way and will continue to teach me through these types of experiences. by @visionarygrant

In My Element

Taking full advantage of the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, to work on a passion-filled project.

I’m engaging with local farmers and purveyors to bridge the gap between regenerative principles and modern living. Feeling grateful and inspired by the dedication of those who nurture our food systems.

It’s been too long 🌿✨

A weekend in the woods... 3 days of fasting, a much-needed reset for the mind, body, and soul.

A gentle reminder to slow down and truly listen. How often do we get entangled in life’s stories and addictions?

The drama of life can be consuming. How often do we pause and let our soul be our guide?

In our fast-paced, disconnected world, we’ve distanced ourselves from nature, our greatest teacher and source of life.

The sun, the trees, the earth — they’re all waiting for us.

Sending boundless love your way,

-Grant” 💚🌞🌳

Authenticity...
Within you within me.
It breaks us free.
From who we thought we were, to who we might be.
A dance with the ego
A thought, that wasn’t me.
Normal is just a conspiracy.
Testing the boundaries
Of what I thought I should be
Of the stories of society
Take away the identity
And there’s nothing but...

Metamorphosis

You know what they say...

The only thing that doesn’t change in life...is change itself

I found this beautiful Chrysalis recently. It was the first one I’ve seen in person.

The perfection of nature always seems to leave me in awe.

We are in a room full of mirrors

Point in one direction, a finger is pointed back, smile in another and a smile will come right back, think the thoughts of the past and continue to see it repeat itself in your life.

There is no running, no hiding, no blaming. We either allow the illusions to distract or we switch positions and see the illusions from the inside out, not from the outside in.

Stepping closer to our inner knowing that we are an expression of God, the incredible power of free will and infinite creation within us.

We are in a room full of mirrors.

What do you see?

Believe: Verb
[ Bih-Leev ]

To have confidence in the truth, the existence, or the reliability of something, although without absolute proof that one is right in doing so.

If I learned anything from 2020.. it is the power of belief.

We have seen very clearly how beliefs shape the trajectory of systems, societies, governments, world leaders, and every decision we make as human beings.

What’s interesting is that most of our beliefs have been passed down through the media, education systems, religious systems, and generational family lines.

These beliefs are embedded into our lives in childhood:
-The belief that we are worthy or not of love
-The belief that we are capable, or not
-The belief that GOD is something outside of us
-The belief that the government has our health in its best interest
-The belief that history we “know” of is exactly what happened
-The belief that we are our identity and that it is better or worse than another’s

I can go on and on.

This year has brought forth the undercurrents of our belief systems and has offered us all opportunities to step into our power, see the truth, live heart centered, and believe in what we are capable of.

It is a journey, a process of unlearning and relearning what is actually true and possible.

One of the negative beliefs that I’ve had to work with is waiting for permission and acceptance to truly believe in my capabilities, stopping me from taking heartfelt action towards my dreams for years.

To trust in the unknown is to trust in God, the universe, your intuition, your heart.

I am learning to let go of all that does not align with the highest truth within my soul and BELIEVE in the infinite realms of possibility.

I invite you this moment to reflect on what beliefs have held you back and what needs to change in order to align with your highest truth. It is time to realize our gifts and serve the world.

I love you all

Water...

The elixir of life, the foundational structure of our cells…it holds memories in the molecules. Water is intelligent.

When we look at the source of where our water is coming from, we find some interesting discoveries.

What does the journey of the water look like?

How long has it been sitting still?

Is it mineralized?

What heavy metals, plastics, chemicals, emotions, pharmaceuticals, and toxins has our water been exposed to?

Why is there privatization of clean water?

I find it essential to ask these questions and to look into the source of not only our water but our food. Clean food and water is our birthright. It is the foundation for our life.

I recommend Spring water if you can access it, nature knows best. At Findaspring.com you can collect water at a local spring. If that is not accessible, there are filters and enhancements that you can purchase such as reverse osmosis filters, distillers, structured water funnels, and trace minerals that will drastically improve the way you feel and function in the long term.

Judgment...

Not to be confused with discernment.

The human condition, born into a world of duality.

Picking sides, noticing differences, making decisions around ideas to defend.
A journey inside, to find our true nature, we all encounter as we mature.
Dancing around the wheel of time, our thoughts guide our sacred minds.
A finger pointed is a thought mis-jointed, A parasite that has been appointed,
“when it’s them, it’s not me” Life is not what you thought it would be.
Picking up paradigms off the shelf, the judgment lies in yourself.
Sing your song of authentic expression, loving others in anger, fear, and, depression.
A drop in the ocean, the ocean in a drop. Is it all just a paradox?
The sameness is in our differences, in acceptance, we make amends.
A world full of mirrors, this maze we’re in, to think it’s outside of us, it’s all within.
See what you see, be who you be, but remember to live judgment free.
When it’s all said and done, and judgment is gone, we will all live in harmony
